After hearing some scary stories from this place, I am interested to know just how many people out there have been victimized by this place. I am hearing many claims, including refusing to hand over medical records, throwing people out, threatening to call Animal Services on clients, holding pets hostage, the owner practicing medicine without a license (I wont even mention what you can find when you google her, you can do that for yourselves). Keep in mind, these are just claims I have heard, nothing I am saying for sure happened. I'd love to hear first hand from some of you if you have had good or bad experiences here!

Nothing better do on a Friday night than try to talk crap about people?
Why don't YOU take your pet there and see what you think. Then you'll have our OWN opinion.

They just threw us out too. I still don't understand what I did wrong as a customer. I had a surgery scheduled for my dog but he started feeling much better and I called to reschedule the surgery to give him more time/chance without cutting his ear off. The receptionist canceled the visit with no problem, but within an hour she called me back saying that the clinic owner instructed her to tell me to go find a different vet from now on. I didn't understand what's wrong and offered to pay cancellation fee if that's an issue, but she hang up on me. I called back hoping we were disconnected but the girl confirmed she hung up on me on purpose per owner's instructions, and that they don't want to see me any more, and she hung up again. I am shocked - what's wrong with these people. I have 12 cats and a dog and we were always happy to visit that clinic with nice personnel. I don't blame the receptionist although it is not nice to be that rude to customers, even if it is owner's instructions. But what's wrong with you, owner?

You get what you pay for. These "affordable" clinics that have popped up over the last few years aren't even owned by veterinarians. They are just private citizens with no veterinary experience whatsoever.
Everyone wants first class service and the professionalism of a veterinarian who has gone to school for 8+ years and dedicated their lives to animal medicine, but you only want to pay for these fly-by-night clinics being run by animal hoarders. No one to blame but yourselves.

I'm currently having issues with them. They botched an emergency surgery and when we called them out on it, they were saying it was our fault and and calling us animal abusers. I had told them I wanted my dog out of their clinic so I could take her to her normal vet, and they told me to get out. I told them that I wasn't leaving without my dog and they said they were calling animal control.(They never did call animal control) They were probably trying to keep my dog so that I did't have proof of the botched job so I couldn't sue them. I recently heard that they try to keep peoples dogs when either they are an expensive breed or if their treatment wasn't done right. I told them that I'd call too because of what they did and I was calling the police if they didn't give me my dog. They finally gave me back my dog and I took her to a REAL vet that confirmed that they did a horrible job. I rated them one star and ever since then, they've been harassing me and my entire family. Check out heir Facebook reviews on what the owner says to people who rate her poorly. It's unreal!

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO AFFORDABLE ANIMAL CARE on Palm Beach Road. Brandi was in respiratory distress, we called they said come in. We walked in and they asked why we were there I pointed to Brandi who was obviously in distress. There were many employees there in addition to the Vet, whom I had seen before and one client. We were taken right back but the told about 10 minutes later the Vet was at lunch,we assumed he was just getting a quick bite there. Within another half hour Brandi was getting worst and they heard that. There was a pop sound and they finally put her on oxygen and called Vet, who was out to lunch, come to find out. There was a complete disregard for my pets life. Brandi passed away before the Vet got back. They wanted to put her in a plastic bag, I told them I donated enough towels to them they could wrap her in the one she died on. Had they said the Vet was leaving we would have left and gone down the street to another Vet. Brandi appeared to have a growth in her abdomen which was not found 10 months prior at P.A.W.S. so I don't know if it was there then or not, I never detected it. She may have been terminal with the growth but she didn't have to die drowning in lung fluid and her lungs possibly popping. I have since found several complaints to the BBB with a F rating and over 60 negative ratings.
I posted this on Lost Pets of Lee County and was after 155 reply postings I was contacted by a "Volunteer" of the office trying to refute everything I said and promptly got my post removed. Someone from there sent me this link. My dog had a sporadic cough for two weeks as soon as she became distressed we called several places only this one could get us right in we arrived at 11:50 and Vet came around the corner and promptly retreated. We were told he was at lunch 10 minutes after being in exam room. They should have sent us elsewhere and told us where as we weren't familiar with area. When Brandi screamed they came and then blood came out of here nose, they finally gave her oxygen and called Vet who was actually OUT to lunch. Had we known or been told this we would have gone elsewhere. Hearing others stories about this place, it seems common practice.
