At 3am in the morning, 17-92 is packed with pedestrians just trying to get to the Walmart for their Midnight to 6am specials.
They always use the crosswalks and they always cross with the light. How this accident happened is beyond my understanding.
And I don't want anyone mentioning alcohol.

If only they could catch all of them. I mean, how hard is it to call 911 and say I think I just hit someone. You know when you hit a human versus hitting an animal. You can't claim you didn't know.

Never fear, a pantie wearing judge will allow the offender, if guilty, to walk.

Hit and run seems to be the norm in some attitudes.

Even if the victim was not in a crosswalk, doesn't excuse the fact that she didn't call 911 and say she hit someone. She had to have known she hit a human being, and she probably would have saved herself from jail.

3am in the morning, Huh? Little redundant don't you think? I mean, have you ever heard of 3am at night or afternoon? I haven't.

Why wouldn't she stop ? A few beers in her system maybe ? This is why I don't drink more than 1 beer if driving. If I hit someone, I'm going to stop. People who don't stop are admitting guilt and that adds to their troubles.

Maybe something is wrong with me, but I just can't understand how you could hit another person and take off.

I'm not no humanitarian by any stretch of the imagination, but what the f--k?

You are right. It is Seminole County and they have the worst judges in this area.

Probably leftover partying from Veterans Day celebrations, both just coming out of bars. She didn't see him, and he probably just grabbed a bite to eat from Denny's across the street, and was heading home to the woods for homeless people, because he didn't have any ID on him.

Right, they alway's use the crosswalk, obeying the traffic signal's. Indeed, I'm surprised any human can be blamed for any accident, as, according to this genius, human's don't make mistakes. Maybe this will teach these ignorant pedestrian's to look for car's or die. Ask yourself why this is one of the most dangerous cities for pedestrian fatalities. It's due to both driver's and pedestrian's, although pedestrian's are in much more danger, they most assuredly believe it is solely the responsibility of the driver. An opinion like that will lead you to the same place: A grave. Watch car's or get ran over, period. With all the ignorant, impatient driver's here, to do anything less is...death.

Now we will see if a Seminole County judge finally takes the charge seriously. If the past is a predictor, not likely.

Prosecutors are happy to prosecute, juries will quickly convict, appellate courts affirm, so why do the judges say, "Tsk, what a tragedy. Could have happened to anyone."?

It's a mystery to me.

She had to have known she hit him,i saw her vehicle on the news and her entire windshield was smashed, tell me she didn't know what she hit, either her license is suspended or shes here illegally. And by the way this makes the third death in the last 3 years in that same area,2 of them just this year alone and in both cases this year it was hit and run,Sanford Police need to be patrolling that area and cracking down not only on speeders but pedestrians as well, enough is enough.

What are you smoking, POT?? Seminole County has the harshest and inappropriate judges. You must not read the news, when recently a judge was fired for abusive power. They are, and have been, tight on budget so they deploy 95% of their police force to get traffic violations and nit-pick drivers. Let's be serious, have you not heard about Winter Springs, Altomonte Springs, and Oviedo?? "Who cares about crime, we need to hand out traffic tickets!!"
Seminole County DOES have the worst judges and court system. They will give this lady the death penalty, AND her family!

She must have hit him pretty hard if the windshield was smashed. She had to have hit him hard enough to flip him up onto the car. What's the speed limit through there?

And who goes shopping at 3:00 AM (in the morning - ha! ha!) I'm sleeping at that time. My Mom used to say the only people out at 3:00 AM are the ones looking for trouble or drunks.

You are correct, rumor has it that she has a previous DUI and a suspended license and just had a baby a few months ago. Her car had significant damage to it but she may have well been too intoxicated to even notice. The only explaination for not getting help is that she was guilty of something.
