I viewed the video and it appears to me he was dodging the police and fell. The ex-wife is trying to turn the accident into a racial case, hoping to cash in like Trayvon's parents are doing. She liked the police when they arrested him for beating her. Now she wants a cop to go to jail because of her criminal ex-husband/baby daddy ran from the police. Court records show how many times she applied for an restraining order against him. Now, she is thinks he was a saint? Go to Clerk.org and look at the records and tell me why this isn't a "stilling the racial pot" case. If she thought a true injustice had occurred, why did she take a settlement for her children so quickly? Before the investigation was completed, she had her kids $500,000.00. Now she's looking for her share.

Exactly. The cop was in pursuit of someone who was evading law enforcement. I think Deland police reacted too fast to the firing, and the City gave in to her demand for money too fast. Good ole boy Crump must be chasing around black families trying to find more "injustices" done to the black man for his paydays. And they call whites racists..........

If there wasn't money involved, do you think Crump would even be involved? Another payday of about 30% for him because a criminal was running from the law. Deland should be ashamed of themselves for giving into these scare tactics.

Police should not be running over unarmed suspects. Period.
