I just stumbled on this article looking for Larry's house on google earth. Your article just scrathed the surface of what an inspiration Larry is to the people that know and love him. I may be biased being I am his brother-in-law but ask anyone that knows him and they will tell you the same thing. You can see the same determination and drive that kept him alive in the intesive care burn unit for over a year in everything that he does today whether coaching baseball, leading boyscouts, or hunting elk. He doesn't see himself as someone with a disability and we (his family) do not see it either. You would think that a brush with death would give you a selfish attitude that I am going to do it all for me. But Larry is the most selfless person that I know and does what ever it takes to get people with various difficulties back to doing the things that they love. I am proud to know you Larry.
