Though it's hard for anyone who doesn't know him to believe, Gardner is one of the most kind-hearted, loving boys I have ever met. I would watch him & his sister when his parents went out of town and they both were just fun & sweet as can be. He is such a sweet boy. Things in life get to be too much and can bring out a side even that person or those closest to them can believe. Though there isn't an excuse for it, there needs to be genuine want to understand how it is to be on something so addictive, why, and how it got to that point so we can help those who need it before it becomes something as sad as this.
Seeing some of the things posted and said about Gardner at various websites and comment areas have infuriated me. I never realized how ignorant people actually can be about someone they don't know. I have also realized that I have often done the same thing. Realizing that was very humbling for me. I hope I can start to learn both sides before I get riled up over the actions of someone else. Someone else who have parents, siblings, friends, relatives and countless others who love them and are hoping that people will be able to see the good in them despite mistakes that have been made.
