When it comes to kids , we need to rewrite the laws. One and done, there is no fixing someone who will do things to children. 15 years isn't long enough, especially with him repeating the sickness over and over. Sad, but at least he will be locked up for a while, just make sure he isn't protected in jail. General pop would love him.

I do not understand why it takes 6 years for someone to realized he had not registered sex offender. Either the gov is overloading this people with work, or they are not working hard enough. My guess would be the ladder of the two.

Nasty parasite! Maybe they should start executing sex offenders! If they knew they would be executed they might think twice before destroying some innocent persons life!

These bottom feeders roam the streets at will and are why camera systems are needed at local malls, as the recent incident at Fashion Square mall should prove to everyone.

Wow, and his last name is eerily similar to a famous 1970s porno movie. These "failure to register" freaks should get five years, no parole, when they "fail" to register.
Mr. Watkins, meet Mr. Emanuele!

Bases on age of child you should get life. Anyone under 12 is life, after that 12 to 17 will be based in the case, with no less than 10 yrs.(at 15-17) you know what your doing, even though it is wrong for the other person to take advantage.

* Released from prison in 2003 following his conviction of a sex offense against a child.
* He then received a suspended sentence for a probation violation in 2004

Meanwhile: Law abiding, normal people are in jail for offences they did not commit.
Perhaps Virginia's judges should registered as Doofusses.

Do we want to treat adolescents as little kids, or treat them like young adults in a free society? I am sure these teens are able to decide for themselves whether or not they want to be around an older man.

My feelings exactly! They do NOT rehabilitate and will continue to be a danger to children. Let them ride the lightning and problem solved. But you know all the bleeding hearts will fuss about that -- until it's THEIR child on the line!
