GOLDMAN: Did 'black racism' doom Richmond's kids?
When I was running Doug Wilder's campaigns that made history locally, statewide and nationally, one part of my strategy remained constant: we would always defend the rights of poor African-Americans no matter the political risk.

Mr. Goldman is correct on all accounts. I really think the black elites in Richmond are out of touch and really don't give a hoot what happens to poor kids in the city. Its about being visible for the glorification of self.
Take a look at the current make-up of the school board....all are overseers for massa jones. Richmond deserves better, but, the voters are too stupid to see what is really happening.
The jones dynasty is entrenched in city politics and if we are not careful we'll continue to get the same treatment over an over again.

oh you mean because they don't know how to teach..
tell the kids to read 1 page every 10 minutes out of a book all day.. everyday so they can have a lot of brain power and skip grades
