Even if you do not agree with the war, We as American's should make sure our service men and women know they are appreciated and supported! Thank you to all that have served...past and present!

I have a brother and a friend active duty right now and my Dad and brother-in-law are veterans.

I take offense every day when people start chanting "Bring our BOYS home". As a woman and an Army veteran, I am proud to have served my country. In Operation Iraqi Freedom, 195,000 women have served in theater. They are just as an important part of the operation as a man. They deserve to be recognized for their contributions too. And honored and cherished for paying the ultimate sacrifice.
I agree, women play a huge part in today's military. I'm a vet of Iraq and Afganistan, I was with the 10th Special Forces Group. Look, the military is all volenteer, so we knew what we were getting ourselves into! The war in Iraq is at it's end, but the war in Afganistan is still in a stale-mate. If the american people are really serious about getting Osama Bin Laden then you need to stop preaching "bring our troops home" and start preaching "support our troops", surge in Afganistan and kill that terrorist S.O.B. Bin Laden!!! Just wanted to put my 2 cents in on this....

I thank you for serving for me and my family. You are a special person to me. Thank you for OUR FREEDOM and "I SUPPORT OUR TROOPS" and May God Bless them all...NOW and way back to when THEY all served and GAVE ALL !!!! I have thought a lot about this and have not read all post on here until today. Obama knows he cannot bring them back by just a snap og his finger. I think he is a smart man and knows these WARS will take time, he said he will not go into office in HASTE.

Time will tell, if he stick's to what he promised I don't see anything wrong with that. He promised a 6mth draw down in Iraq, but I think it will take more like a year and then a troop surge like the one in Iraq, used in Afganistan. What the troop surge does more than anything is lower the enemies moral. They know there out numbered, and the greater the numbers we have on them, I think the more peace and stibility will be brought to there nation! I will be going back to Afganistan somtime in the comming summer, wish me luck!!

I have a son who joined the guard last year as a junior in high school and goes for his AIT this summer. His younger brothers also wish to follow his example.I am scared as hell that come Aug or Oct, He'll be called up.I don't want to see our ppl go and sure glad to see them come home. the sad truth is we have set ourselves up to police the world or the past 70 yrs and now we are stuck in the "sand box" for many many yrs to come. mostly because our enemy is only interested in killing us each other or anyone else that threatens dictatorial lifestyle and will die to prove their point.God bless our soldiers and keep them in your prayers.

It does not matter who we vote for all politicians are crooks. We are not a christian nation now, thats what is wrong with the USA. We as a nation have demanded that God be taken out of everything and I've wondered if just maybe that is what is going on with us... maybe God has just stepped back and said well lets just see how blessed they are without me.
Are you cereal? Seriously you are not the moral police. I'm gonna guess you didn't go to college nor did you go to graduate school did ya? I didn't think so. I like your dumb though.
Did you really say god has stepped back and worried about you in anyway? U self absorbed narcacisst.
NO WE ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN NATION. THIS NATION WAS FOUNDED ON SEPERATION OF CHURCH AND STATE. THE FOUNDING FATHERS WOULD LAUGH AT YOU AS DO I.
There were 300k killed in Hatti last year but GOD cares about you or your shit. Oh yeah why would god care about anything if he truly was a god he would laugh at us.

So please make me laugh as you get your new quilt ready.
