I decided to get on here and skipped to the last page of this forum so I could see how Amy was doing. I can't tell you how exited I am to see such a wonderful ending to such an unfortunate accident. This is why I love these forums, the news always tells us of all the bad things that have happend, yet we never get to hear any of the outcomes.

Steve, you have been absolutely wonderful about all of this and keeping everyone informed. I know it couldn't have been easy, but I am hoping in some way, posting has sort of helped you keep your sanity a bit. I beleive also that it has helped Amy be where she is today. The more prayers-the better the outcome. You have had so many people praying for her that don't even know her. You deserve a Father of the year award for this! I don't know your family, but I can see that you all are wonderful people who deserved this happy ending. Amy-I am so glad you got to be home on Mother's day! Noone deserved it this year more than you! Take care, and best wishes.

Howdy Amazed! Don't ya just luv good stories? Thank you so much for your post. You absolutely hit the nail on the head about my sanity by posting and responding to all of this. This is the first time I've ever had to collect thoughts and try to put them in type, And try to make it come out somewhat intelligent to most of the people. Whew! But let me tell you first of all, I don't deserve any Father of the year award or anything, I really don't think I would have expected or believed anything less about my Amy. She is the toughest kid we raised,(period.) and has/is proving it! We're part Cherokee, part Irish, part German, etc. My Amy know as I know the old Irish slant, "I'm Irish, if it ain't F***ed up, it ain't right"! But I'm old enough to know this; it is not an accident, or coincedence, or by chance that all these people just happened to be on that road that day. I would have to have one eye and half a brain to believe that. So she is still here for a reason. I'm still trying to figure that out. Please post back, you seem like a caring and humble Okie, like us. Much obliged for even taking the time. But then time has a truly new meening to all of us right now. Thank you so very much. Much love and peace.

Howdy again. I wonder if any of you all think channel 6 might think about following up on their story here? I really don't think they have any idea about what a miracle has happened here. I really don't know how to let them know. Just give it some thought, thats all. Love and peace.

I am sure if you contact the reporter who did the initial story, he/she would love to do a follow up & let viewers who are not following this on here to know miracles do happen!

Steve, I am a journalism teacher and I know some of the reporters from Channel 8 but not 6. Let me know if you want me to contact them. I do agree that they need to follow up on this story. The public needs to hear that their are Angels and that God does provide for us in need. I will check and see if I might can get hold of the channel 6 reporter. They usually are pretty helpful to me.

Mark, take your drug fueled comment, get cleaned up, and then look on here and see what an idiot you made of yourself making such a comment of someone you don't even know. I don't know her but from looking at all the comments she seems to be a good mommy and I know personally what a comment like that means to a mommy. I have 4 sons and they are my world. I pray for all of the family that they all are ok and am so proud she was so thoughtful unlike alot of people I see next to me driving that she had her children buckled up. Please God lay your hands all around this family with prayers and and love and make all of them come out of this just fine. So sorry for that man's ridiculous remark. God bless you!
