The City Council need to address this. New years eve, July 4th, labor day, memorial day...we could be selling fireworks in Claremore...more sales tax revenue to run the city with.

Maybe if some didn't act careless, a permit would not be needed.

Most are too stupid. YOU lose your right whenever everything nearby goes up in smoke or people get hurt. AND, I will be the first to encourage our lawmakers enforce laws to protect us. I will also report those who break the law, and be the first to be a witness in the court of LAW.

all i have to say is that if you have wood shingles there is nothing like having the leftover crap from fireworks fall onto your roof and you have to stand out with a waterhose and hope it doesn't catch fire...or worry whether that field next to your house is going to catch fire from the remnants of fireworks and burn your house down...i am all for fireworks...don't get me wrong but they're dangerous especially when you have a bunch of drunk revellers shooting them off willy nilly.
