I guess the long-time customers of the old Knotty Pine were not good enough for a rebuild at the same location. Piss on KP, I won't chase them across town to give them my money. Looks like the grease fire was a blessing.

Ate it a few times and thought it was some pretty sorry BBQ, and the sides were totally awful. Tasted like BBQ bought frozen in supermarket that you heat up at home.

Maybe they have someone now who knows how to cook BBQ.

I'll check them out one time in their new location.

The beer wasn't bad.

You're nuts. Knotty Pine had the best BBQ in the World, and the beans and cole slaw were even better.

You must not have eaten there within five years or so of the fire. The beans were bland, cole slaw syrupy, and the ribs tough as a boot. Back in the day it was damn good stuff, but toward the end they were just phoning it in and living off of the reputation of the earlier times. It was a coin toss if the ribs were going to be tough or eatable.

I ate there all the time. It was outstanding every time. Never had a tough rib. The beans and cole slaw were always great. I've eaten BBQ all over the U. S. and Knotty Pine was the best ever.

I've eaten a lot of "best" BBQ around the nation and KP for me ain't one of the best. I can't get Franklin BBQ in Austin our of my mind. That stuff hypnotized me and made me feel all was well with the world. Could eat it every day.

Comments here running 3-1 against Knotty Pine.

Maybe Guy has a financial interest in the business.

Knotty Pine BBQ needs to get that Hell's Kitchen Chef to help them. He turns around a lot of crappy places like Knotty Pine where the owners are deluded and think they have a great product, and they always have a few like you who think the product is great but that just encourages them to keep the same lousy product.

I have been eating there my whole life! The food was excellent every time! I have tried some of those places mentioned earlier and found them lacking. KP is the best hands down! Always has been and hopefully always will be. I have been dieing for their potato salad and beans for over a year I thought I would never be able to taste them again and it made me want to cry. No one anywhere even close to Tulsa has anything even close to being as good. I can't wait till they open again! I also don't know why people are complaining about where the locations are. Stuck up prick! They only reason they didn't rebuild was cost. It's more cost effective to get a place already built everyone knows that.

It just makes me laugh to look at all these comments against Knotty Pine. Then again, I guess some people just gotta troll because anybody who actually thinks KP sucks... doesn't exist.

Can't wait until it opens again! Best barbeque I've ever eaten, especially the cole slaw, potato salad and the baked beans! The best thing is I won't have to drive far, because it is right down the street from us.

Please have at it, and eat mine while you are there. That is some pretty bad barbeque.

However, if a person is extremely hungry and nothing else is around it is edible.

You are a moron. Or, quite possibly you have never eaten at Knotty Pine and are just trolling to get folks worked up. Well, I guess that makes you a moron, also.
