Police busy at Tuesday's Artpark concert

Area law enforcement agencies had their hands full Tuesday night, as a larger than expected crowd for the Sublime with Rome concert at Artpark resulted in scores of arrests, many of them on Village of Lewiston streets.

Lewiston police are idiots. They are handing out open container tickets at concert events. Really? I'm 500 yards from the concert where I can buy all the beer I want, but this idiot cop tells me they have "zero tolerance" for open containers. I'm 50 years old, walking through a parking lot caring one beer. One beer! Really?! Great job. How to drive busy and patrons out of my community 101. Just tell us the money is for you fat pension you boozo. So now I'm inclined to go up to Lewiston again to spend my money? Not! Wake up residents. Your cops are diving tourists and business out of your town. Don't complain when your taxes keep going up.

You know whats even dumber than them giving you a ticket. You knowing there is an open continer law and doing it anyway. You just were asking for trouble.
