Has anyone come forward with any information on Adam Castillo who went missing after a desert party in Willcox? It will be one year this month that he went missing and we are still hurting as if it just happened yesterday. Twenty-six young adults and not one can tell us anything!! Sounds like someone has alot of pull with your kids in Willcox..or money to keep people quiet. Is it possible to hide a body that good in the desert? I wish to God that my nephew would not have gone to that party. When the desert took Adam...it also took my brother, he will not ever be the same man. Such a small town..how can no one know anything??

It's not unheard of to be killed or eaten by desert wildlife. Sounds like his own fault.

o.k. lets blame the victim!! He was out with his so called friends. What a rude comment.

That's why family shouldn't be involved in such things.

Asgarnieu, have you no compassion? Of course family should be involved in the dissaperence of a loved one! I know if it happened to my son or daughter I would want some answers too.
Olga, my prayers are with you and your family during this time of grief.

Well then, I feel sorry for you. You seem like a pretty demented human being, "Killah89107". Your personality probably compares to those "adults" at the party at which this young man went missing.
However, this isn't about you. Finding answers to this young mans dissaperence is more important. Hopefully someone will come forward.

Olga, I don't know if you believe in God, but I do. These "adults" who aren't stepping forward will pay their dues when the time comes. Your family will also be reunited with Adam Castillo if he has passed on.

Don't feel sorry for me, feel sorry for yourself for being a push-over. The fact of the matter is Adam probably walked out of the party in a drunken stupor and no one saw him leave. People can't watch everything as it happens. Blaming the people at the party is foolish.

I'm not a push-over, I'm just compassionate, and I'm not sorry to say so.

My husband is a police officer here in Oregon, and from what we have read on this young man, it just seems very unlikely that he just so happened to walk out of the party with no one seeing him! It also appears as though police suspect foul play.

Maybe you should research the case a little more before jumping to conclusions, and sticking up for cold-blooded human beings just like yourself, Justin Herbert.

Meh. Think what you want, but it makes no sense. Kids from this area are dipshits anyways. Do you really think a bunch of kids are going to say anything? There was most definitely alcohol at the party. Alcohol + dumbass kids = dead/injured people and no palpable answers. Cold-blooded keeps my blood pressure down, maybe you should try it.

Before you said the fact of the matter is "Adam probably walked out of the party in a drunken stupor and no one saw him leave. People can't watch everything as it happens."

Now your saying that just maybe someone saw something, but just aren't going to say anything? And how is that okay?

What happened was not an accident! Alot of it can be blamed on alchohol, yes, but from what I've read, he was murdered! That is just horrible!

Where did you read this? I didn't know you were a homicide investigator...

What it boils down to is alcohol. Alcohol has EVERYTHING to do with it. Did Adam have any connections to any known criminals? Did he cross a Mexican cartel member? Was he in debt to a supplier? Doesn't seem like it.

There are several newspaper articles on him, and from what I have read there is more to his case than just a case of drunken stupidity on his part!

As I have said before my husband works as a police officer, I know more about the case than you do.

We are talking about a human life here. Adam had famliy who obviously love him very much, he was an important person to many people from what I've read on post and article comments. Your negativity just isn't needed.

So...because your husband who lives in Oregon knows more about the case because he's a police officer there? By that logic, I'm a security officer and I live less than 50 miles from where it happened. I OBVIOUSLY know more about the case.

Your husband knows about as much as I do: jack shit.

People die every day. What makes Mr. Castillo so special? If you died tomorrow under the same circumstances would a police officer's wife from Wisconsin give a shit?

Well you didn't seem to know they expect foul play, so you obviously don't know more about the case.
I too am very familiar with the Cochise County/Graham County area. I grew up in Thatcher, completed my education there, I even went to EAC then went on to graduate from U of A.

People do die everyday. But, Adam Castillo was a young man, with a loving family, it's been over a year, and stll no answers! That just isn't right. People like you can't continue to make excuses for the young adults at the party! Somebody does need to step forward with some answers, so that his family can have closure. And so the people who hurt Adam can never do it again.

What if no one has answers? That's what I've been trying to say the whole damn time. Sure, foul play is likely; but we can't know if no one saw anything. I'm pretty sure that if all of these people were asked or interrogated by law enforcement, SOMEONE would spill the beans. But no one has. This isn't a case of money keeping young adults' mouths shut or a massive conspiracy, it's a simple case of NO ONE SAW A DAMN THING.

There were 26 people there, and not one saw anything? I just can't see that happening. The cops have already found out that some of the party-goers made up a story. If something violent did happen to Mr.Castillo, which seems likely, wouldn't whoever witnessed it be scared to come forth?

Okay. Maybe I'm not making myself clear enough. I admit fault in that area.

NO ONE GIVES A DAMN. THERE'S A REASON FOR IT.

Maybe no one liked him. Maybe he was a real asshole. Maybe he was a punk. Whatever the reason, no one cares. Why should anyone but the police in the jurisdiction of the crime?

You make some terrible assumptions. Adam had many friends, he was always nothing but kind and courteous. We went to highschool together and he was always such a passionate, loving person who befriended everyone.

Adam has a family, fiance', and friends that love him dearly and want some closure. PEOPLE DO CARE!!!

Willcox isn't the same town I grew up in, it's so corrupt now, and full of drugs. The cops are even corrupt. The Loop, where Adam went missing, is a place where I socialized plenty of times as a highschool student. It was a place for a bunch of kids to have fun, start a bonfire, and celebrate a football victory. In all these years, this is the first time anybody has gone missing while there.

I don't understand why this happened to Adam, he always had a good head on top of his shoulders. Adam was the type of guy in highschool who would rather be at home, spending time with his familiy, close friends, and highschool sweetheart than partying. I still don't know why he went to the party that night, and I honestly do think he was a victim of a crime.

Adam and I went to school together, worked together. I had the honor of calling him my bestfriend at one point. Even when I did something to him that I thought was unforgiveable, the goodness he had in his heart allowed him to forgive me. Adam was that type of person, to some he may seem like a pushover, he had such a kind heart.

Negativity really isn't needed, or appreciate.
He is gone, that much I know. We miss you Adam! We love you! FLY HIGH

I care...Willcox2006 cares...Olga cares. I think it's pretty safe to say people do care and give a damn!

Is it possible you are bitter because if you went missing, nobody would care or even notice you were gone? Just a thought...
