The 7th anniversary of Kayla Reed's death is now here. I read the warrant info that was open to the public, and clearly Dennis Murphy is responsible. He still works and lives in our community, so be aware. I truly believe LPD put more effort into solving this case than any other police department could. Sometimes the physical evidence just isn't there, and there are no eye witnesses, except for the killer(s). I hope one day LPD will get justice for Kayla.

it's nice to see someone giving lpd the respect it deserves. Sure, not all of what they do is heroic, but these are extremely hard working men and women keeping us safe and they don't deserve to only be rediculed.

Where do you look for warrant information? I have never done that before, and have someone that I need to check out in addition to wanting to see information on Kayla's case.

You cant look up 27 information, know a police officer? If so ask him/her otherwise you'll have to go down to your county court house and ASK for the documents. You need to plead your case and if the judge sees fit that you can obtain the info then you you'll get those documents otherwise forgetta bout it.

Also, all media was given access to it at the time. I believe the Times printed an article at the time. You could check with the Times or even Chris at Livermore Patch.

I'm not aware of this case, just googled and minimal info appears. Who is Dennis Murphy?
