I find it curious that El Balazo has been open for as long as it was. We went there once for lunch. Everything was re-heated day old stuff and soft soggy vegetables. Neither one of us finished our meal. Much surprise to me cause my wife has a cast iron stomach and seems to like all sorts of stuff. The entire experience was like eating at some soup kitchen on the out skirts of Stockton. If I had to grow up eating that slop I would have left home as soon as I was able to fix my own meals or was able to use a can opener and live on Rosarita re-fried beans and corn chips.

it is because it was a known shelter for all the illegal mexican trafficing in the tri valley area. El Balazo and the car washes in Livermore and Dublin are repsonsible for 90% of the illegals that are working here. Close them and we can ship them all home where they belong

I don't think they could afford to employ 90% of the illegals living here. Even if they only paid them a dollar an hour. I used to work with at least one illegal immigrant in high school a few years ago and she was getting minimum wage. But then again, she just used a phony social security number.
