Oh phooey!! What we really need are some working men, say a carpenter and a crossing guard to make practical levelheaded, common sense decisions. This idea of electing lawyers has been tried but has met with limited success.
You got that right. When it comes to common sense, you always go with a person who's spent his life doing practical things -- like framing a house, pouring a foundation, or running a small business. There is something about the "bureaucratic professions" that seems to attract people who are brilliant at arguing semantics but have no clue about the basic nuts and bolts of getting things done.

You mean the Hispanics? I may have made a mistake about you Tom...Nah, I seriously doubt it.

Dr Wester -- what is it with you guys? I mention occuaptions like framing or running a business and YOU IMMEDIATELY think I'm referring to hispanics.

Do you realize how much racism is engrained in your brain to make that statement? You need some help here, pal.

Here's the reality -- framers, plumbers, business owners, etc, come from every race, creed, gender, and color in America. That's why we're called a "melting pot".

That kind of diversity is sorely needed, and not just on the RPV council.

Bill Brand,

Evidently, the Hermosa Voters totally disagree with you. An incumbent lost almost 20 years ago, but incumbents virtually never lose. This was a landslide vote against him resulting from public outrage at his public and personal conduct, as well as his total lack of any significant accomplishments, other than to open discourage and stifle public participation in violation of State Law, the Brown Act (which you should read).

HOW DARE YOU write you ludicrous letter, clearly trying to claim that you know better than the public/voter. Keegan believed this also, which is why he was so resoundingly shot down . Perhaps if you took your head out from that dark place where it has clearly been, you might become enlightened, as the Hermosa public/voters were. You might even small better.

Birds of a feather flock together. In this case, they also may get shot down together. If you continue with this kind of clear ignorance, stupidity, and ARROGANCE, this will probably happen to you. What an idiot you are trying to ride alongside a dead horse!

Today looks particularly good for improving your earning capacity or working conditions. Events that develop around them could help to improve your self-esteem. You need to be wary of a friend's motivation because things aren't as simple as they seem. This is an excellent day to send out your resume and change work practices; get to know your colleagues better and basically have some fun with them.
