Killing California's Costly Death Penalty
This November, California voters will have the chance to decide on that question by voting for or against a ballot initiative called SAFE , which would replace the death penalty with life without possibility of parole as the state's maximum punishment.

It is too costly and needs to be abolished in this country, especially in the current economy. Spend the money on victims rights, police officers, education, community rejuvination, etc.
