The deficit isn't what Kiddo wants to spend money on. They are not interested in subjects which educate people to help compete against other nations. Only the artsy stuff.
But beyond that & far more important is that really there is nothing more important than ensuring we keep the artsy stuff as that is core to well rounded children. Studies have shown that over and over, but unfortunately in our F'ed up American scoiety we have focused on having the best scores and testing everybody and math, science, writing only. Talk about the wrong way to play catch-up.
Aristotle would be so disappointed.
