Yes the service! But even here in the states This can be a daily scene: I stop by at fish market and talk with the attendant in Tagalog and her jaw drops. The other attendants turn around with dropped jaws as well and stare at me like I fell from the Moon. Then, a rather naïve battery of questions in Tagalog follows which is always more or less the same:

“Do you speak Tagalog?“

“What I am speaking with you now? Is it Bulgarian?”

“You are speaking Tagalog so well, but why? Is your wife a Filipina?”

“And you are speaking English, is your husband an Englishman?”

“Are you a priest?”

“ Not, not me, you mean a priest with a beautiful girlfriend like that?”

(A blank stare on their part while I declare my “patriotic” allegiance to the Philippine culture and tell them that I am now living in the Philippines and that when a foreigner comes to the Philippines he should try to adjust to the local culture and do things the local way just like a Filipino should do the same when he goes to another country, and why is it they’ve never thought of that and am I doing something wrong?)

“ Tama ka, tama ka”–“You are right, you are right”, and the nods follow.

Been there and done that. Brought one home in '78. Kmart was thing back then. Sears was aright too but we were living in navy housing at that time. Didn't need and couldn't afford a bunch of crap. Yep still got that old mamma son.

What are you gonna do mutha fuka. Run from your shadow?

It was ascertained along time ago that the entire VIB agenda and mentality is based upon racism. From the racial stereotyping and "ho hunting" by Gomes and Pearsall, to the berating of African American ministers and their congregations, to the non stop attack on Hermie Sunga, ever since he took office 7 years ago, to the most recent use of Cyndi Mitchell as a racial pawn and fuse in the VIB war against the police and VIB's Liat Meitzenheimmer's transparent motives for helping organize a DOJ meeting with the citizens of Vallejo, to the VIB condemnation and open mockery and insult of the local Native American peoples for demonstrating at the burial ground in Glen Cove, along with the racist comments against Norman "Wounded Knee DeOcampo".

Nothing more need be said. VIB is as yellow an organization as they come. Lurking in the shadows, afraid and unable to refute this because there is no refuting it.

Underneath that vile exterior dwells a true racist. Sam hate most people and is willing to post racist slurs to advance his agenda.

ell you what Pinoy, Casper, other fools. I have a class in Oakland from 9am to 1pm tomorrow. I will gladly show up at Selecta at 2pm with witnesses to prove I was there. Now its your move p u s s i e s. If you want this so badly I am sure 2pm instead of noon will work. Casper, Pinoy, whomever, this is it. S h i t or get off the pot. Don't even bother to reply unless it is to say you will be there and that you will identify yourself to me. Anything else is a cop out and that will end your chest thumping for good. I have never been more serious. My money says NONE OF YOU will show up!
