Boyfriend of slain woman is captured

I don't know if [the wounds] were self-inflicted FORT WORTH -- The 24-year-old boyfriend of a woman found slain in her southeast Fort Worth home Thursday was arrested Friday in San Marcos after a four-hour standoff, authorities reported. Clifford Charles Ford was taken into custody about 6:15 p.m. by a Hays County SWAT team outside a residence, said Lt. Leroy Opiela, a spokesman for the county Sheriff's Department. A warrant for Ford's arrest had been issued after Deshaun Calloway Johnson, 35, was found fatally shot Thursday morning on her bed in the home she shared with Ford in the 4900 block of Wichita Street. Clifford Charles Ford was one of my bestfriends. Ask him and he would say the same, more like brothers. It was a bond I would die to keep. I loved him so when he let me know he in my oldest siser, Deshaun Calloway were intrested in each other I gave them my blessing. Never in a million years would I think he would betray my trust by peircing my flesh. Life lessons taught me "friends there is not a such thing only family". To my Shaunny I know it took a life-time for us to unite but unite we did and united we will be forever.
