Having something does not give someone the right to steal it. Pot is not the only thing of value that robbers steal, is it?

No, but the lure of easy black market money not only attracts the criminals who grow it, but criminals like these idiots who seek to rip it off. There is just no limit to the benefits of being the marijuana capital of the world.

"The men had planned to rob two brothers of about 100 pounds of marijuana, but changed plans when they learned that their first target was heavily armed, McMenomey stated."

You anti-gun nuts starting to get it?

The comrades deleted my first post. How softy censorship falls on the Marxist mind.

Why would you send these clowns back to prison? The Legislature and ARNOLD will be letting them out soon. A whole bunch of them will walk out the gate and into your neighborhood with no supervision. ABSOLUTELY NO supervision. They are calling it Parole reform. So, alot of inmates and parolee's that have what they call non serious, non violent convictions will be out looking for their next fix. My suggestion is to arm yourself with a CCW. Keep your guns close to you at home.

Read the story. One is going away for 13 years. The other for 7. I don't think these fit into the non-serious, non-violent category. Do you?

yeah I would say 3 year max on the 13.

If you didn't shoot some one we don't have room for you. If you killed them 10 years max.

You figure it cost from 250,000-750,000 to put some one on a life sentence. And with inflation and the rate this state is hemorrhaging money it more like a 1-1.5 mil!

Absolutely not, they are non serious, non violent. So you say the judge will give them 7 and 13 eh? Do you thing they will get 1/3 time off? Not! They will get a lot more time off depending on their final conviction. Some may get more than 1/2 time off. Some might hit the door, do six months and leave with out any supervision. Wait for the new reform that is going into place as we type. Changes specifically designed to empty the prisons, and keep only the most serious inside. My whole point is that you will have alot more idiots out in the community doing rip offs etc. The police will not be able to keep up with it.

Is it really that hard to get a damn job and grow your own cannabis? I know work is scarce in mendocino co. but I always managed to find odd job's to stay busy between full time employment. splitting firewood painting a fence or house. raking leaves or what ever. and it's really not that hard to grow your own.rather than stealing from others.I think i would much rather stand on the corner with a sign asking for work and taking what ever job is offerd than to spend 7 yrs in the joint over a couple lbs of weed.I know it's embarrasing to have to collect unemployment or hold a sign hoping some one will offer you a few hrs of work but it certainly no more embarrasing than get popped in the can by your cell mate down to san quinten

I know Harrold too. I agree, he is crazy. A lifer for sure. Anyone who beats up women, ties them up, and steals their pot is scum. Get your own! Quit trying to take from others!! I was glad that they all got a sentence, although not nearly enough time in my opinion. Yeah, too heavily armed, I hear that, going to have to go get a gun permit I guess!!

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Virgo

Mercury is turning retrograde at just the right time, because it's telling you to consider the validity of your long-term aims and aspirations. If they stand about as much chance of seeing the light of day as you do of winning the Lottery, then you need to streamline them or even abandon them and start again. So think about what you want from life and how you're going to get it. Children and romance may be quite erratic during this phase.
