The U.S. Department of Justice says these programs do not work.

The U.S. Bureau of Criminal Justice Statistics says violent crime is up.

Why do local government continue to waste time and taxpayer dollars on these programs....

The gift cards may be donated, but the public servants are on the clock; some making time and ahalf....

I took a trip out there and the line was long. I walked to the front of the line and asked a couple of questions and on the way back I noticed a lot of people had either .22LR's and multiple .22 pistols. Only a couple of AR's and NO AK's. Seems people are doing the smart thing and getting rid of their smaller munitions and getting something bigger. A lot of old guys and old women. I saw one young guy there and his thing was he's got a 2 year old and a newborn and doesn't want it in is his home. Other then that it smelled like a convalescent home.

Funny but I don't read much about 22 cal. being used by a bunch of old folks in any shooting sprees.

Nothing being done about crime in Antioch. What a joke. Antioch PD busts a guy on 17 counts including a loaded fire arm on the front seat of stolen pick up. Prior burglary he hasn't even yet appeared and he walks. The prisons are full and the DA won't prosecute but they want to buy back our protection. Go figure...
The Antioch city council is a joke. We spend the entire budget on police and when and if they catch them, theres no prosecution to jail crooks. We truly do have a revolving door. I'd be shocked if there is no street justice happening out there. The state, county and city are running on empty and they want to buy up useless old guns. They say they are on our side but you can't count on cops anymore. Who knows who's side they are on. Cops are as useless as the old guns they just bought back and that glass house they built to enforce the law. Screw you all that are racist. We need everyone not just white trash.
