Chuck Meek Diver died

My friend Chuck Meek died Sunday night, They say he had a massive heart attach under water while on his dive. He was an amazing man. He worked in our local hospital as a nurse manager and most recently as a Rick Managemnt Director. He was in good shape and loved the ocean. His dream was to retire in Hawaii. We are still in shock and my heart is broken that I will not be able to see him and his smile as he cracks a bad joke when I pass him in the hall. He is a mentor of how I should treat others with kindness. He was way to young to go and had way more to give. Thank you to those who helped him on his last day. You would of loved him if you knew him. Our hearts are broken. He leaves behind two collage age children who will miss him greatly

Thank you for this post. I was there diving that day and came up from my second dive to yells and sirens.I kicked for shore, but was too late.I am glad to know a little bit more about Chuck, and am at least glad to know he died doing something he loved. Our thoughts have been with him since that afternoon.
