Is it just me, or have we seen a jump in crime, especially gang and gun crimes in Hollister since the arrival of Mayor Velazquez.

Perhaps the "good" mayor should be seriously talking about expanding funding for law enforcement rather than consolidating and eliminating it.

How do you tell if a politician is lying? His mouth is open.

Sure seems that way to me. Why is he trying to get rid of cops while the town is infested with gang scum. I hope the voters remember this.

that's ridiculous this inflex of gang members is do to Salinas over population of them meaning many fled areasis all around Salinas. And yes the violence in Hollister has gotten out of hand where once this town was united and everyone got along and help each other and the police instead of being robocops were more layed back in there ways of handling situations and calm cool collective mannerism leaving the person whith there respect and dignity sure there were times they were aggressive and had to use force but all in all they had the respect to the people and their trust and they also wait what looked upon as the enemy but more neighbors or friends this only still rings true For ARE honorable hometown judges Brean & T
