Loretta Sanchez panders to Viet voters while ignoring the Dream Act

Full story: orangejuiceblog.com

The OC Weekly caught Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez pandering to the Viet vote today. “What was Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez thinking today when she took to the floor in Congress to fight for the rights of a youth activist in Vietnam while she continues to ignore the youth activists pleading for her support in her own backyard? It’s not that Nguyen Tien Trung, a well known youth and pro-democracy activist in Vietnam, shouldn’t be released from prison, what nags here is yet another instance of Sanchez’s blatant hypocrisy.” The point of the article is that Sanchez was ranting and raving about a young man in Vietnam, while young immigrants in her district are not able to go to college and pay in-state tuition. Sanchez has actually rejected sponsorship of the Dream Act. Click here to read the rest of this article.

Loretta Sanchez is for the Dream Act and every program illegals can extract from taxpayers. But since she will be running for reelection soon, and with Obama recession costing taxpayers trillions, she wants to appear 'Conservative' to gain the votes of taxpayers who are up in arms over Obama's recession and California's deficit spending. I have heard Sanchez many times defending and sympathizing with illegal immigrants. The two-face Loretta will not fool voters this time. There is a long paper trail on how she voted on issues relating to illegal immigration.

Isn't this the same Loretta that is under an ethics committee investigation?
To gain the Vietnamese vote she is now grandstanding for Vietnamese rights! What a phony politician. She does not deserve to be in congress. I will vote for her opponent - that's the right thing to do.

Danny,

Vote for Quang Pham. He is a moderate Republican. He is not anti-immigrant. And he is a former U.S. Marine.
