fineswine is allowing a tiny little fish prevent water going to the central valley where your food is grown. put down your joint and think about this, no water to the central valley means no food, no food means no munchies, no munchies means you will have to quit smoking pot, so fineswine is tring to make you quit smoking pot. far out man!

Are all of these politicians involved in real estate?

Seems like they could pick up some dirt cheap land after the valley has been dry for a while.

Funny how so much suffering is caused by so few...

I usually never agree with Feinstein, but in this case, she's got it right! I am actually very surprised she is siding with the farmers -- mostly because it makes sense! The fish are going to be okay. We need to get water to our Central Valley, and soon! It's a crying shame that our beautiful farmlands that grow crops for not only California, but for many other places, is turning into a dust bowl. Farmers with long-time, family-owned farms have lost them. Thousands of people have lost jobs! We pay higher prices for our fruits and vegetables, because they're being shipped to us from other countries. That's wrong! All of this because of the Delta Smelt. I have followed this story from the beginning, which again, is why I'm so surprised that Feinstein is siding with the farmers, instead of the fish! Regardless, she's gotta go! She, Pelosi, Reid, Boxer.... all of 'em.... gotta go!
