Yes something does need to be done......the citizens need to take back the streets. No use complaining and whining about public safety and money that just isn't there and besides, we the citizens know our neighborhoods better than the cops so unless we take our neighborhoods back, this crap will keep happening.....

technically he was home gunned down right in front his place. so before you start assuming and also blaming the parents please know the story. This is a mothers worst nightmare come alive. So, be a little more respectable of that. Its life rather it was gang related or not. Even the innocent get shot.

I totally agree that it is a mothers worst nightmare. He was outside with others after curfew! Im am not saying that what happened was warranted by any means but come on, these are kids and should be inside in their bed at this time of the night. I am not trying to be insensitive, I just dont understand why anyone would allow their kids out after dark, after curfew when Hemet is obviously going to shit.

Time for another "sweep." Looks like the last one didn't pick up all the dirt. RSO and PD should enforce the curfew throughout the entire San Jacinto Valley.

To anyone who comments please know the story, this is a tragedy, he was a good kid and no one deserves this no matter what life style they lead... Everyone makes mistakes at a young age but who is anyone to decide the value of this young land life...

"god" and prayers don't reduce crime. Do you know what does? Abortions. The more bastards we prevent today, the less stories like this we here tomorrow. I sure hope HPD doesn't dedicate too many resources to this.

That area should be plowed under. I blame the owners of these rat infested apartments. All they care about is MONEY. Few places do background checks on people. If owners and managers lived there, it makes a big difference. This is why section 8 should be abolished. Low lifes move in and never have to work, they suck off the government tit.

I don't know if it is true. Did they ever release the victim's name? Anyway, sadly I would not be shocked if it was true. I'm hoping it isn't. The family must be going through a lot.

It seems that people too often glorify the gang life. They always see themselves in the position of "killer" instead of the "killed"
