Our elected officials have known for a long time that the opposition to this settlement is huge. So why have they continued to support it without considering their constituents feelings? Some would say they were bought out. Some would say they are doing what is best for us sheep. Some would think that this protects the acequias. This settlement will destroy the acequias and will rival the development in the airport road area. If the people that were polled had been given the real story instead of a push poll with scare tactics there would be h**l to pay.
