"Too bad the complainers who turned a pleasant and profitable dairy farm into suburbia"
Hate to break this to you Wilbur, but the people who turned your "pleasant and profitable dairy farm into suburbia" were the owners of the dairy that sold it for their own financial benefit ... not the residents, past or present, in the homes. And can we officially stop with this nonsense as well ... "Please recognize it is a priceless asset." It is not priceless. It has a replacement cost that can be readily calculated. There is nothing special or precious about the rock in East San Rafael. Also, the fact that you are a WASP whose family has lived in the area for a long time has no relevance to this discussion. |
