you do not deserve an entire roof, just the damage to be corrected. the city should only have to pay the deductible

You would have had your problem solved if you werenít being so greedy!

The city admitted their fault in the situation and tried to rectify the problem but I guess you WANTED a new roof and they donít owe you that!
Yes the city employee should have reported it to his supervisor but you used that mistake and tried to prosper off it!
Now take responsibility for your greedy scam and stop trying to blame the city!

You WANT a new roof Mr. Saenz..... PAY FOR IT!

Since when do you deserve a whole new roof because of damage by a city employee to one area. The city offered 4500 and he didn't take it. That's his problem.

If my car gets dinged on the driver door,by another driver and it is his fault, I'm not going to get a new truck from him or his insurance company. They just fix the driver door.

This guy seems to want to take advantage of a City.

The city should not be responsible for what the insurance company has paid. That is one of the reasons we have insurance. As far as a whole new roof...not in my opinion you greedy opportunist. When a mistake is made by an employee of a large utility company or in this case a city worker, people see dollar signs in their future. We are living in an extremely litigious society.

Interesting. The tile is no longer manufactured. How old is this roof anyway?Could it have possibly been time to replace it? Good job Glendora. You're taxpayers should be proud.

I must agree with the city's position. This guy wants to rip off the public. The flooding was self inflicted. I think once the insurance company gets the whole story, they will be looking to get some money back.

The bullet holes were so numerous in the roof of the dwelling that Mark Smith occupies, which is listed under his girlfriends name that the pair was forced to relocate to Azusa due to fear of of higher than normal fall precipitation which is expected due to glendora voodoo ceremonial rituals conducted at finkbiner park during the summer which are directed at Smith.

Smith declined to comment in public but claimed

After reading this article and visiting the house in question at 580 E. Lemon ave, Glendora, California it is clear the City of Glendora is trying to SHAFT the property owner!

Neighborhood residents commented that this is a common trait of Glendora's local government officials, some say they have been treated worse!

Getting the runaround by the city, no fooling. He should file a claim which would probably be rejected and then take the city to court. This would be a good one for Judge Judy.
