mmm conspiracy charges could be filed and these guys will be going away for a long time. Conspiracy holds a longer sentence than murder in many cases.(I dont get how killing someone in cold blood can get you 10-15 years in some cases!)

What needs to happen is that all the cities out this way need to form a coalition to systematically eradicate street crime. I'm sorry but gangs are domestic terrorists, they should be treated as such. Don't want to risk getting thrown in jail for the rest of your life? Don't join a gang. They need to make a hard line against these assholes and make them fear walking the streets in the IE. Plus, after school activities to draw kids away from these gangs.

Simply put, if you're found to be in a gang and you committed a violent crime, it adds 30-40 years to your sentence. Which is much more lenient than what they do to foreign terrorists.

I realize our prison systems are full, but release the non-violent offenders and non-gang crimes (mostly pot smokers and people convicted of petty crimes and given harsher punishments than even murderers get) and start fixing social problems at the source, we could balance things out.

Anyway, Ontario, Pomona, Upland, Chino, Chino Hills, RC, Fontana, Claremont, Montclair, maybe even Walnut (more crime is starting to happen around the colleges) and Norco should start working together to start snuffing out gang activity, get better police forces that will go after these assholes instead of hassling taxpayers about going 36 mph in a 35, or leaving a trash can out too long, or chalking your car's tires because it sat in the same place for 3 days.
