I agree agca. Not a bit of information to be had from that report.

Go to the website officer.com . Click into top stories. You can read a very well written article; and it sounds like a lot more than allegations.

Oh, the shame of it all, Oh, the shame of it all. Nice work Attorney General!

Really where in the report do they back up their allegations? If you want to consider people with bias like ex-cop's and attorneys suing the city. If you have an opinion don't you have to back it up with facts. I only saw two in the report and both those officers are fired.

What Report? If you are talking about TV report, yes only two.But you need to read the 30page report and you will see that there are amny more detailed in report.I'm sure you have not read the 30page report,so dont comment until you do.I would bet money you are a city employee or police officer of maywood and of cource you would find fault in any report about your crooked city council and police dept.

I think its high time we look at ourselves as a society and realize what the problem is.

If you think police officers are corrupt, then OBVIOUSLY you, yourself have been hiding, committing crimes, and / or paranoid of getting caught.

The end.

This sounds just like a local PD right up here in No Ca. But officers accused of misconduct in that department not only remain on duty, they get awards
for excessive arrests and get tasked with training others on how to conduct arrests. Maybe the State Atty General needs to work on placing some reliable oversight over all police departments since present policies aren't working, and abuses run rampant.

Anyone who says that Maywood PD doesn't have some problems are delusional. With that said, I think the Department has come a long way in the last 3 years. The quality of police service is way up, and people need to realize that nothing can change overnight.

People need to hold the Police Department, Police Chief and City Council accountable. Go to city and public meetings.

Like going to city and public meetings is going to make a difference. Don't you know it is the city officials and in many cases a large percentage of the public who not only unquestionably back police but attack anyone who doesn't? They're all in on it. The only way to hold them accountable is to go outside the city and county both. And sometimes that doesn't work either.
Predominantly police are the untouchables of society.

Well, if that is true, then there is nothing for any of us to do. You can either try to change things and some times win and some times lose or just sit around bitching about everything.

You are the one trying to state something as fact-you have no proof. You depend on the news to do your thinking for you and until you read the FULL REPORT and not just the TV report-SHUT-UP!!!!

Ask the citizens of CUDAHY what they think of your police dept.Teh TRUTH will set you FREE!!!!!!The only reason you think the service is better is because your city council has stopped them from stopping anyone who looks ILLEGAL!!!!!

Your comments are complete nonsense. "If you think that police officers are corrupt, then OBVIOUSLY you, yourself have been hiding, committing crimes, and / or paranoid of getting caught".

This is complete bullsh#t. So, what you are trying to say is that there has never been one single instance of a corrupt cop anywhere in the US, at anytime in history. And, if anyone thinks that cops may be corrupt; that automatically means that person is either hiding, is paranoid, or is a criminal. You are a complete idiot! Let's all hope that you are not also a cop.........
