What you talk about, is very true, and is a classic example of what is known as urban decay. The low class comes in to an area, and the middle class leaves.

Very true, a whole lot of good people do just that, and it is not easy in today's environment.

<quoted text>And what did you do about it , if you did not want to beat them down and call the cops , did you atleast take down the plate and turn it in too the cops ? I would have kicked the s hit out of him the call the cops on him . No matter what their race is , they deserve to be taken out . In old c.j.(mens central county jail ) the cops would put them in the middle of 9500 dorm ( intake before twin towers ) tell them to stand there then they would put it on the loud speaker - his charges . Every body would run in and beat him as much as possible . After 1 min. they would walk in with a strecher and take him to the hospital but he would have a slash across his face witch makes him marked for life . They would aiways p.c. up after that - most wanted that before hand already . Now a days they go straight to p.c. after they and their lawyers went after the Sheriffs .
I was working at the time, but I did scare him off and the little girl started running home.

<quoted text>The main difference is that these violent gang crimes are about a weekly occurrence in that area. Sure there are some real bad white people, and the penalties for them should be as harsh as for others. The thing is, that crime in the Hispanic community is much higher, than their percentage of the general population. A proven fact of life.

South American prisons are not as bad as Central American joints . Most of the guys that run the Central American joints come from the C.D.C. joints . M.S. 13 , and 18 th st. come from here in the L.A. area then spread out threw out the country . When they get cought & deported ,or run from the cops , they take that knowledge with them . "Level 4 yard . Hilarious " How many years did you put in for you to think it's a joke ? You muust have been at the Bay . Look at the Dog Bounty Hunter , he did like 3 days in Mexico and when they passed him in court he had a black eye and wanted to cry .

The police are not educated. In fact, most high school students have the same education, IF NOT HIGHER, than an average police officer. Police are not bright people and yet citizens expect THEM to use intelligence to crack down on crime. Most of us can do a better job. Think about it - how many of these type of shootings go unresolved? The police don;t HAVE A CLUE in how to resolve them and and arrest the shooter(s)- LOL

Your name of "former LAPD" says a lot. It sounds to me like you were booted out. The MAJORITY of our police are doing the best they can with what they are allowed. Their hands are proverbially tied behind their backs in quite a few situations that all we outsiders looking in feel are cut and dried. You, in my humble opinion are a disgrace to law enforcement.

How many cops have been fired or are under investigation - from RAPE to THEFT - around in S.G.V.. That goes from P.D.s to the Sheriff Dep.. Yes I know that not all are bad but that blue code that the good ones can't tell on the bad ones , because there goes your back up then your all alone out there , is just as bad as the no snitch the criminals have .

So because there is bad in every bunch, you think they should all be lumped together? So the comment about priests being bad people should hold weight because there were SOME and their superiors helped to cover it up? What about lawyers? Those scum lawyers that defend guilty people should make all lawyers look bad because they do? We cannot and should not paint all of ANY group with one paint brush. You can dislike/despise individuals or sub-groups, but when you lump everyone in the same pot you show limited thought process and rationalizing.

If Cop or a Priest see their fellow cop or preist commit a crime , Priest molest a kid - Cop commit a crime , they should and must turn them in . As for a Cop he took a oath to uphold the law , by looking the otherway or not reportting it he is then breaking the law himself . For a priest he also took a oath not to sin specialy againts kids , he would then be breaking the oath and mans law . If they don't report it it is as if they did it them selfs . If two men plan a robbery and one of them kill the victom they are both charged with murder , or if one helps after the murder he is charged for helping after the fact . So cops or priest should be held the same if they see their partner commit a crime then try to cover it up they should be charged for helping to cover it up after the fact by just knowing about it .

You really do babble on... My point is... ONE bad cop, or ONE bad priest does not make ALL cops or priests bad. I do agree with you that if one sees or has knowledge of another commiting a crime, they should step up and say or do something. If we lived in a perfect world, I'm sure that would happen.
