A professional business (basketball playing) has absolutely no connection to the San Francisco waterfront/bay. There is always another reason to put a building on any open space that's seemingly available. There are already many large essentially unused warehouse buildings on the waterfront. The businesses in them have nothing to do with nautical services or related activities.
An indoor sport - basketball - has no business on our prec ious open waterfront space.(a private business!!)
