Oak. Man Suspected In More Than 20 SF Robberies
A suspect believed to be responsible for more than 20 armed robberies in San Francisco within the last three months has been apprehended, San Francisco police announced Tuesday morning.
Two Northern Station police officers spotted 23-year-old Jamaar Melton of Oakland on Saturday after a description was broadcast of a suspect who had robbed a Blockbuster Video store at 160 Church St. around 2:30 p.m. that day.
When officers approached Melton, he allegedly fled on foot, discarding a loaded gun, clothing and money taken during the alleged robbery, according to police. Officers pursued Melton and placed him in custody. Read more

A young man smart enough to pull off 20 armed robberies before getting caught is bright enough to hold down a paying job.
One has to wonder when the black community will stop excusing black crime and intiate affirmation action to bring criminals to justice.
