I was saddened to hear this about Blinky my heart goes out to you and the rest of your family.I used to hang out with him and his brother smiley for many years through our teens. It has been about 16 years since I saw him last.I was unaware he had children. I ran into smiley about a year ago but the number he gave me did not work.I would like to contact Carlos but I dont think he lives on 22nd street anymore. My wife also went to school with China at St. Pauls. I was wondering if you could help me contact them.this is my email [email protected] Thank You & God Bless

Why God decided to take you so soon i will never know. But I will always be happy that I have the memories. Its going to take a very long time to get over this. It seems like just yesterday we were talking and driving in the car and now your gone. Even though I know your gone I'm still going to look for you when i walk down the block. I don't think i'll ever except the fact that your gone. It seems like your still here. The whole time I was at grandmas house and we were talkin about you. We kept just thinking you were going to come in and start talking to us. But it didn't happen. Your funeral and burial was so beautiful. You would have loved it. So many people came to show there RESPECT. But know one wanted to see you like that. We sat there for 9 hours and all we could do was cry. The next day when we went to the church it was crazy. You would have thought a celebrity died. We pulled up to St.Peters and there was so many people outside and even more people inside. It was PERFECT. And I think you would agree. When it came time to burry you it was such a horrible feeling. We walked up a hill with your casket in a carriage with a horse. It started out a cold horrible day but when we got to the top of the hill and we saw all the people waiting there. It seemed as though the sun came out just for you. Everyone was nice they let the family come to the front. Finally it came time to throw our flowers in and the dirt. You would have been so proud all us kids helped. Then we were down. And all i felt was pain. What do we do now?!?! But I know your going to help us get through it. And with that I feel sigh of relief.

It seems like just yesterday I saw your smiling face. Always so handsome. You were so low key, yet known by many. Most people loved you, some people hated on you, but everyone RESPECTED you. You kept it so real. Your memory will last a life time. Your son did such a great job at your funeral. You would be so proud. You were so full of life and that it makes this so hard to accept. SO much love to you Blink!
