Suky Ramos lives for her community. Her mission in life is to help people. Ramos was born and raised in Fabens by Consuelo and Federico Castillo.

I commend Ms Ramos for her effort to make Socorro and the Mission Valley a better place to live. Too bad, just a few people have the time and patience to volunteer or get involved. Hopefully her attitude will rub off on others in the community and help Socorro get on the right track. Good Luck!!

I have to agree with "Bobby," Suky is a class act. Everything that she does comes from the heart. I have nothing negative to about Suky as I know her personally. I only wish that she had not been so gullible as to believe all of Jesse Gandara JR's false promises and outright lies that he told her. She would have made a "big" difference on city council and would have not allowed the shenanigans that have taken place in the past six months. Had she run she would have won hands down. Thank you Suky for being you, and please reconsider next time.

Fortunately, not everyone is driven by money. Suky's efforts are driven by the love she has for her community. I am honored to know Ms. Ramos; if more people were like her, Socorro, San Eli, Clint, and Fabens would be put on the map as beautiful historic tourist destinations.

Suky is a person to be admired. I have known her for several years now and her heart is for all human beings. I have seen her happy and strong,yet, I have also seen her weep when her heart is in pain. Yes, she should run for a political office, no title is required. Suky, we all love you.

I have known this beautiful woman all my life. We have shared a long history together and she has never been about money, she is about helping others. Hate to disappoint you but Suky is truly honest, caring and a loving person. All my life she has always talked about doing for others, never expecting anything in return. She always said if you are expecting then don't do it all because the only pay one should expect is from our Heavenly Father! Even then she would say not to expect the kind of pay the world offers but the kind of rewards God offers, peace, joy and love! And if I know this beautiful woman well she just smiled when she read your comment and may have said something along the lines, "Father you know my heart". To the beautiful woman who has spent her life serving others, keep going forward and may Our Heavenly Father continue to fill your life with much love and happiness! You have my support, and yes tlets make this a better world to live in especially in the Lower Valley, that has so much potential. Lets get rid of our corrupt filthy city mayor and representatives, so we can return to honest clean standards within our community. Much work needs to be done!!! IE: enforce building and living standards, clean up Socoor road as it has also become a nightmare with Filth, Car lots, Junky buildings, and no place to bring tourist, we can and used to do better. We also need to start with someone that will lead by example and the "Gandaras" are not it, and if you don't believe me visit there junk yards and total disrespect for neighbors, or a clean environment as all they have is junk and what land they do own they destroy. Where is the city Codes, OSHA, or sanitation at???? Suki:
