Well, this settles it. Court documents were filed today AND they were notarized, which makes them official. All of you bloodthirsty mongrels clamoring for his death should be ashamed. First of all, as democrats you hate the death penalty because Holder does. Second, no one in their right mind should execute someone who is not in his right mind so case closed.

You can't favor the death penalty if you voted for Sadler, which you did. He hates the GD thing.

I favor the death penalty even had I voted for Sadler. I have seen many a democrat vote for the death penalty and many of the judges and district attorneys in this state are democrats.

Even he is not mentally retarded, he has a mental disorder. Someone who committed such terrible crimes must have a mental disorder, and what worries me most is this could happen to everyone. I just lost a friend, within one year. He got a bipolar disorder and commited suicide. I never thought this could happen to someone that quick.

Anyone who kills someone and it ain't war time is mentally affected. Anyone in war who kills just for the fun of it is a psycho. All serial killers are psychotic. They still deserve the death penalty.

You are absolutely right, but I don´t agree with your conclusion.
What makes you sure that you won´t become a psycho in your future life. When I was a teenager I suffered occasionally on depression.
It overwhelmed me in all of a sudden, it lasted a few days and than vanished.I had absolutely no control over it. Therefore I can imagine what it means to suffer a mental disorder. I hope I will sommetimes die from a heart attack or a stroke than by a mental thing.

Judge rules against serial killer David Leonard Wood's DNA petition

A visiting judge for the 171st Judicial District Court has ruled against convicted serial killer David Leonard Wood's petition involving DNA test results.

Wood, who received a stay of execution two years ago, had expanded his death penalty appeal to include a petition for a new finding of his 1992 conviction.

He requested, and was granted, new DNA tests of items from 1987 victims of the notorious desert deaths in Northeast El Paso.

"The court finds that the results of the DNA analysis do not establish that, had the results been available during the trial of offense, it is reasonably probable that (Wood) would not have been convicted," according to Judge Bert Richardson's ruling dated Aug. 17.

According to court records, prosecutors did not rely on DNA evidence to try Wood.

The Texas Criminal Court of Appeals granted Wood a stay of execution two years ago, the day before he was to be executed by lethal injection.

Wood was accused of killing six girls and young women in 1987 in Northeast El Paso: Desiree Wheatley, Angelica Frausto, Ivy Susanna Williams, Karen Baker, Rosa Maria Casio and Dawn Smith.

He was the first Texan convicted under the state's serial-killer statute.

He was indicted for killing all six and was convicted of the stabbing death of Williams. Wood denied killing anyone.

Wood initially appealed his 1992 death sentence, arguing that he was mentally retarded and therefore exempt from the death penalty.

The U.S. Supreme Court had ruled in another case years after Wood's conviction that it is unconstitutional to execute mentally retarded people. A separate hearing has not been set to determine whether Wood meets the legal threshold of mental retardation.

Oh, since he only committed 6 murders instead of seven, then he should get clemency, right, jerk--off?

Exculpatory evidence in a single case does not absolve him of all the rest. Get a grip, you dumb Chicago ghetto POS.

I never ment he is just stupid. I just know this issue by the statements that were revealed and I´m convinced he is the right one who did it. But in my opinion he has got a mental disorder or a brain defect and the question is what to do with a person like that.
To answer this question one should keep in mind that we all can get some sort of mental disorder.

Yeah, like, Wood's psychopathy --not knowing the difference between right and wrong--also endemic in a lot of the contributors to this forum--like you. The German cops better keep an eye on you.

In your mind, even though he committed murder. Just because he doesn't know the difference between right and wrong, nothing should happen to him? Then, by some chance, he proves, he can be let go back into society. Some in society must be sacrificed. In order for society to continue the evolve. As you can see now days, the criminals and the unproductive in society have more rights than the providers. Can't you see, how things in this world are regressing, not progressing.

I took delivery on my new Cadillac this week and I am already disappointed. I had no idea the glove boxes were so small! We'd been saving for some time to be able to afford this car and now we have buyer's remorse. Do you have this same problem by chance?

Well, my friend I do know what is right and what is wrong. Up to now there are just a few things I regret but nothing serious to mention, maybe that I dindn´t take enough advantage from school to learn a proper English. I hope one excuse my poor English skills.
