Number one, How can she be mad at Contreras he was part of the gang of Hoolagins, Number two- Someone that can poke fun of the Cowboys God deals with them. Number 3-If Contreras had any conscience he would not have hit-n-run and ran stop signs. Trust me he is probably in jail just happy as hell he didn't die.

#1 - Making fun of the cowboys is OK. but making fun of the incident that happened at the cowboy practice field is bad. A lot of people got hurt and some got paralyzed.

#2 - The driver of the truck hit the integra at the carwash and more then likely all the kids that were hanging out there went to chase him which in turn scared the driver of the truck and maybe that is why he was driving crazy trying to get away.
I am not making excuses for him, just saying maybe he got scared of them chasing him because he thought they were going to kick his a**.

True on number 2 , but those old guys think they can kick anybodys xxx. so why would he run.
On number 1 - Do it at your own risk, but please don't be standing next to anyone God would not like to get innocent bystanders hurt.

If he is found guilty of manslaughter I pray that "time served" does not run concurrent with the sentence. Otherwise he will be sentenced to 5-10 years and let out in one year because he spent four years awaiting his court date.
He is an idiot and deserves all the consequenses and conscience that he rightfully deserves.

In regards to the comments made of the cowboys,, the man was a joker. It does not make anyone a hater, and that God punishes the one who pokes fun. Get real! The family is in mourning for the death of a Husband, Father, and Grandfather. Accidents do happen.! This also doesn't entail that the driver was a murderer. If the family feels that he will have his own punishment, then let it be. No one know's what was going through his mind at that time. We are no one to judge, and I bet he too is in regret.

I agree with you. I just imagine what his best friend is going through right now. What a tragedy and it is very scary. They did not imagine what was going to happen. Like they say, We wake up in the morning and we just don't know what God has for us. I pray for this family and hoping God gives them strength to deal with this situation. GOd Bless you all.

The driver Mr. Contreras was no kid he was smart to try and get away because he knew that he was in trouble for hitting a parked car so do not say he was dumb to hit and run he knew what he was doing and he needs to pay with life in prison for the choice that he made and that choice cost a person to die.

Manuel is my uncle and though you all didn't know him he was very loving. He truly loved us and told us that all the time and his energy was always positive. He would give his last dime if you needed it. His weakness was partying and in the end that was the cause of his death. He was always up to hanging out and enjoying a beer or two. His friend will live with this whether he goes to prison or not. I could still see my uncle smiling at me with love. He was a joker...who didn't make fun of the Dallas structure tumbling down... only Dallas cowboy fans. It was for fun, not personal to those who got injured. A huge family is in a great deal of pain. Thank you to all of you who are respectful and send us all their thoughts.

Contreras didn't sound that smart. He made negative choices that will affect the rest of his life.

I'm glad the SOB was caught. The only reason he did a hit-and-run at his age is because he has done it before and gotten away with it. That's what causes them to do it again. I got hit by an SOB drunk driver in broad daylight, just like this story. The SOB ran. I tried to chase after him but two of my tires blew with the accident. I'm glad I didn't catch him. I was so pissed I would've beat him crippled. I'm sure this was probably the same as*hole

I too went to school and played football with "El Blondie". He was a good person, always with a good word for everyone. He'll be missed, and may God comfort his family...va.

Yeah, wait until this sweet loving and very sorry man is on trial for this murder. He will turn the story around and you will see, it will be his passengers fault he was killed. He'll use any excuse to get off. If the passenger hadn't been in the car with him..the passenger was the one who told him to run...The passenger grabbed the wheel and caused the accident, then leaned over and stomped on the gas pedal to get away and poor Mr. contreras was just this helpless man strapped in the drivers seat while his crazy passenger did all this to him. Poor Mr. Contreras. My prayers go out to the family. I feel your pain. However, it won't be long before you do blame this man. He is going to drag your loved one through the mud so he can come out clean.

I blame Jesus for all this. He was always calling to go down some brews. He was always trying to get out of the house, maybe if he would stay home once in awhile we would not have to be going thru all this mess. Thanks alot Jessie , thanks for nothing.

The "S" word you used should be stupid, not smart.
He's probably stupid enough to get off too, I hope this doesn't happen for the family's sake.

You must be on crack! How can you blame a person who has died? You and Contreras (probably related) should be aware that when anyone is the driver you and only you are responsible for the safety of all passengers. The driver takes on that responsibility.**It was forwarned by a previous commentor that the driver would start blaming the dead man... except we expected the driver to start blaming others for the driver's actions and not others who had nothing to do with it...(COWARD). You need to pray for the driver that you can someday see him as a "free man" and not make pointless comments that only show how you people think! Go drink a beer-that solves everything.
