LOL. Don't leave comments about illegals or welfare leechers because the sympathizing moderator will erase the comment.

Just another hater. The Republicans even hate during the Christmas Season. I thought they were the religious people, who love all, instead they hate everything that is not White.

How about giving the presents to the parents ? Give them 100 condoms. If you can't feed'em don't breed'em . It takes a village to raise a child , someone has to pay the bills.

That is one advice your parents didn't obviously take and now as a result we have the village-raised idiot roaming free.

it is great to see these kid's eyes light up with a simple gift. they didn't ask to grow up in the situation they are in, and we should all be willing to help out the children at this time of the year. kudos to all those who helped make this happen

It's a good idea. However this time of year it seems that everyone is focusing on the kids, the kids..

Because by this time next week the toys are either gonna be put to the side or just plain ignored.....

What about our elderly who struggle month to month to pay for their medications, any supplies they might needs( adult diapers, dental work, eyeglasses, meal supplements).

I think we should take better care of the elderly.

Why does it have to be named "COLONIA"?? I am glad something is done for those less fortunate, but come on...COLONIA?? That is so "third world".

You know this story is about CHILDREN not adults. Yes here in El Paso we have a lot of people who abuse the welfare system even using their children to do it but as a AMERICAN TAXPAYER there should be no complaints or rude remarks about a innocent child receiving a toy for Christmas no matter who they are or where they came from! Christmas is about giving. These children should not suffer because of the actions of their parents especially at Christmas. Maybe this season you should reflect on the things you have and realize that not all people especially these children are not so lucky! If ONE present makes a brighter day for them then why is that so bad??

Having tons of kids that you can't afford is also third world so the term fits. It's nice to give the kids presents but it's really time to teach the adults some kind of responsibility. If you can't feed 'em don't breed 'em.

The same goes for haters that are cancers to mankind. If all they do is hate don't breed them. The world would be better off without them.

You're full of it. If you really gave a damn about kids, you'd want the parents to show some responsibility.

So you feed them at Christmas - but what of the rest of the year when they have to live off hundreds of dollars worth of food stamps, WIC coupons and free school lunches?

Why don't you do something more for these kids and work to teach parental responsbility? And you know every one of these kids will get a new sibling by next Christmas, another child with a mother who has never held a job and a father that left the picture soon after conception.

Maybe you could teach them about abortions and parents killing their children. You could even show some recent examples. If not discuss Columbine or other similar incidents. You have so much material and hate to draw from.
