It's not supposed to be advertised where it's at. It's a good place to smoke weed.

"For those thinking of heading to the canyon, they should bring appropriate clothes as well as drinking water. Hikers should also be aware of rattlesnakes and poison oak, he said. He also urges extreme precaution when jumping in the falls, adding that the current of the water causes a suction effect that can pull a person under the water. "

Ummmm, you guys have fun, but I think I'll pass...

For those interested in seeing what the creek/falls look like, I suggest doing a search on youtube. There are a number of videos of it there...

Take you freaking phone! WHEN you are one of your drunk ass friends gets hurt, we can triangulate your location and launch a very expensive taxpayer funded helicopter to rescue you. It takes hours to find people who have no idea where they are.

You guys act like this is a "secret place" I'm sorry - there are thousands of hikers that visit sapphire annually - along with the many other trails in Southern California - and what's wrong if mexicans go for a hike? What's wrong with any race goin outdoors for a good time- ya what bout he white trash that smoke weed up there??? Mexican probably built the house your living in ... You know who you are-

Why do you think they have the helicopter! To help people in need and fight crime. Just look at it this way. One more job for a pilot. Your helping the economy.

Theres nothin wrong with any race wanting to enjoy the outdoors but lets be honest. Just like hermit falls to the north and aztec falls to the south these were places of natural beauty, free of trash and tagging. We all know which race is taggin the granite.... the same ones leaving the trash. Wtf up.. u wanna live like that? thats what ur pad is for... not out here... and by the way a mexi didnt build my house.. they cant do quality work

So I guess sapphire falls is closed to everybody, Except that old couple that live on Turquoise st. I watched them emerge from their hike in the so-called "Closed" area just enjoying the night without a care in the world.
Thanks

The moment they saw me, They reported me to BLM. So I didnt even stop driving. I guess the Sapphire Falls is their's & their's only. And why is it still closed????? The area is lush & green. Fire danger is over! I guess making bogus complaints about crime & drugs really pays off!
