Mom's humanity makes big impact
For Barbara Moore's family, the short-term challenge was the cats. Moore certainly didn't intend for the little wild cat to be orphaned when she adopted her.

That was a strangely written article followed up by a strangely written poem.
The people the story is about must have a personal friend who writes for the News Press, because the whole thing didn't make sense.
How many cats are there?
They shoud have focused the story more around the cats with pictures of them. Instead they had a close up of the womans hand and leg in a hospital gown or something.
Animals usually have good luck being adopted when the media gives them coverage, but the NP failed miserably presenting this.
Do we care that this woman has a daughter in Vermont who is a psychologist and writes poetry in her spare time? I don't. I'd rather hear about the cats needing homes.
The whole thing just left me saying "wtf?".
