Anyone who uses San Carlos Avenue in downtown San Carlos in invited to participate in a focus group of San Carlos Avenue street users, held as part of doctoral dissertation research on the effects of street design and other street characteristics on those who use a street on a regular basis. The San Carlos focus group is one of a series of six sessions being held to discuss individual streets in five Bay Area communities.Joe Kott, former Palo Alto Chief Transportation Official, is conducting the research study. "I look forward to learning a great deal from what will certainly be a thoughtful and engaged group of people in San Carlos", Mr. Kott predicted.

Refreshments (juice, coffee, water, bagels, cream cheese and biscuits) will be available during the session.
