Good riddance. I remember seeing this story on "America's Most Wanted" several years ago.

I don't understand the sentence of 15 years to life. For someone his age there is probably going to be a big difference between getting 15 years and getting a life term. If he gets 15 years he could still have a life after prison. But of course the mother of his daughter will not have any chance at a life after being murdered by him. Which sentence will he end up getting? Or will it be something in between? I think we can all agree on which sentence he really deserves for this crime... I hope he never sees the light of day again.

There's probably some guideline/requirement for sentencing, but permanently locked away sounds like the least he should get for murder.

It's such a sad situation for the little daughter.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Capricorn

A certain person is strong-willed with the Full Moon in your emotional house of others. It's a lunar eclipse too, so this could lead to some ructions in which everyone becomes firmly entrenched in their own opinions and refuses to acknowledge anyone else's point of view. Get the arguments out of the way early on, so you can then concentrate on having a really enjoyable New Year's Eve.
