Wow the suspects were African Americans! What a surprise...NOT! Oh well that cultural rot called gangsta rap says all that violent criminal behavior is cool so what do we expect. Besides the boys from da hood have to have something to tide them over until the first of the month when the next welfare check comes in. You know what I'm sayin' homie?

And "It's all about respect!" say some of the defenders of turds with legs like this! Uh huh! Oh yeah!

All is can say is be aware of those people around you at all times. I was also robbed on 1/10/10 while walking to Powell Bart station in the middle of a crowded street in front of H & M. The robbers were two female African Americans. One grabbed my iPhone from my hand, and luckily weren't able to take my purse. I can't believe that not a single person around me tried to help stop these thugs from running away.

Sometimes things happen so fast that people around you have no time to react. I was on Muni sitting in the side (senior-disabled) seats right inside the front door with a young woman sitting beside me. Just as the train was about to depart Embarcadaro Station a black punk got up from his seat, grabbed the woman's laptop and went out the door and was long gone across the platform before any of us could even react. Then there is always the possibility that these turds with legs thugs (male of female) have weapons and you might end up dead if you tried to apprehend them. No easy answer for how to protect yourself when you have all this ghetto garbage, sons and daughters of bloated welfare pig mothers and "my baby's daddy" missing in action fathers loose on the streets!

Tell it like it is!! I have been pilfered many times in the last few years and most of the time it is young black thugs from out of the area.I am not hating all black people because of it but I am weary of ghettized thugs with THE LOOK.I Have spent a few nights homeless and when I do sleep out side I stay in the Financial District.Baby Boomers who are Homeless become victims all the time. Most of us have an income and we just can not afford housing all the time and when we go to a shelter we have no security.Read... Well isn't that still somebody else's private property? What gives them the right to go in there? There are homeless shelters available in most communities. Yeah I know...you can't do drugs, get drunk, screw your bitches and act like barbarians there can you? You also have to take a shower once in a while! Homeless people usually trash the places they crash in too. Just today in the news there was a major half million dollar fire apparently started by homeless folks who had taken over a former car dealership. It all beats going out there and working for a living though, doesn't it?

Your right Karen it is private property and that is not good. The best rule is to get permission if you can or move on.The shelters are often filled with drug thugs and parolees.I have met some great people on the other hand.I have a rule to leave the place cleaner than when I arrived and unfortunately most homeless are PIGS.I am amazed how bad it can be,I have complained to some with no change. The other big problem besides blatant drug and alcohol abuse is the thieves. To think that they are all a buch of heathens is as bad as the ones who behave badly.NOT ALL HOMELESS ARE THE SAME.Some have ethics. Some even have a blog and are starting a non profit with some associates,LIKE ME!Don't get me wrong Karen some of them make me livid too,and they will be irresponsible for ever and that won't change.Read John Joebee Homeless in SF for a different twist on being homeless in San Francico and a Service Connected Veteran.GOD BLESS ALL
