We should have more days where the police pull over every car they see for "suspicion of DUI". That's a great way for them to violate our rights "legally".
Actually, the article doesn't even say if the "extra" citations and arrests can be attributed to the extra patrols. How many citations and DUI arrests are made on an average night between 6 pm and 2 am? Probably not much fewer...

Why not have the "BOOZE" company apply a medication that immobilizes the drinker after a couple of drinks? Better than cutting-off the so called "right to be a drunk" bunches supply. Here, have another!

Thumbs up to law enforcement for making this a priority. It’s good to see them working to keep the community a little safer. Hopefully they will be able to keep an eye on boaters as well. Driving a boat and drinking is just as common as driving a car under the influence and just as dangerous (maybe more so).
