Its a sad day for San Antonio. The next two years are going to be a ride into decadation and uncertainty. We're gong to see Juaquin run City council meetings when his brother Julian is too hungover from a night of drinking and skirt chasing to attend.

Who in the hell said I liked all those things? You just read that im a conservative capitalist and then amused Im a republican? They havenít been acting like a republican in decades, they have acted more like you liberal, socialist.

So do you want to start a debate on capitalism and socialism? Im all for that. But if this is just more you hate bush bullcrap, save it. Besides for each charge you have written, I can come up with three just as bad, committed by your side. Politiciansí are corrupt, ALL of them.

I am always amazed by the instant explosion of hate from you people when you see someone who doesnít believe the way you do. Its amazing because are you not supposed to be the people of, tolerance, choice, compassion? All I ever see is lip service. You are all those things as long as every goes along..lol, how funny.

The things that made America great were chattel slavery of Africans and their children that provided hundreds of years of free labor and the systematic killing of it's indigenous peoples. America was made on the backs of those who benefit the least. Stop telling that erroneous great lie.

And yet , America keeps on being great on the backs of the most dispised people in the U.S., namely , the illegal Mexicans which keeps getting the blame for most of the troubles that are going on in America , while being the most hardworking people in the fields and menial jobs . I don't advocate people coming across the border illegally , but I do want a fair chance for them to get legal since they're here already .

well i see you have swallowed the whole load of crap, America just sucks and has always sucked huh? wonder why everyone risks their life to come here.. hum something doesnít add up. Perhaps its your way of thinking?

you folk act like the usa invented slavery, and taking over territories and kicking out the people who were there. you need to look at history a bit better. this is how the world had been for THOUSANDS of year. until a we, the usa, in less that 100 outlawed slavery, and soon there after hasnít taken an inch of ground from anyone. even those we conquer. where in history have you ever seen that?

How do you think most every nation in history got started?

Whomever came to America first did bring their own slave here , then brought blacks from Africa to America to work in the tobbaco fields and their plantations , until Pres. Lincoln signed the Emmancipation Declaration to end slavery in the U.S.A., but even then slavery did not end , people still wanted to keep the slaves that they had , and they did .

When the Indians surrendered , they were promised to be put in their own land where they could learn how to farm and have freedom and fend for themselves . What happened later ?, they were driven out of their LANDS , not once , not twice , but many times , violating the signed treaties signed by the Pres. and Tribal Chiefs .

So nobody can claim that not an inch of land was taken . Mexico was robbed of their own land by the U.S., even if people will argue differently , when the U.S. set the boundaries without Mexico's presence .

"yo-yo", "nino", "nina", "dirk diggler","ro n jeremey" ( i prefer your moniker"tiny" in reference to your overinfation of part of yourself, that is much more accurate in description....) et.al - as those are ALL the names you use in posting and replying/agreeing with yourself on Topix, on Numerous strings
FYI- Slavery In Africa, practiced by Blacks Africans ON Black Africans still existed until the French . Protugeuse, Germans, and British Colonial Powers ended it the Early 20TH Century...
Indians Violated those treaties EVERY time, in innumerous ways, and EVERY term/condition off them.
Mexico Lost.Twice- Under the SAME dictator.
Mexico did not adhere to the 1836 Terms of Surrender and/or treaty of an UNCONDITIONAL Surrender. It refused to adhere to To the terms of the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. It admonished it would aadhere to it , and signed the terms.
This is all EMPIRICAL Evidence.Your accusations and Claims, as Usual are BASELESS.
I am sure you will now use your typical moronic tirade of -epithets, stupidity, unfounded Claims and Outright Lies in response to this post

Great Britian, while categortically, is not exactly on par, and likewise having made mistakes in the past( and with moderns , ongioing problems like the USA - in different areas) I would say would equally parallel it ( and is one of the 3 basis ofr the USA legal /Govt system - " english Common law")

Along with being a great country in the eyes of the world , even you admit that America does have dirty laundry .
What I wrote is FACT , why should we try to hide it in the closet .

I love America as much as you do , but why can't my point be taken as a valuable lesson for the future generations so the same mistakes will not be made again in this great society ?

It gets frustrating to have to keep arguing back and forth when I can point things out and someone has to come back and try to make me feel like an imbecile with out no knowledge .

Let's give it another try and try to understand each others point of view . O.K.?

you love america? what kind of love is that? i never hear people like you praise America or stick up for her. every chance you get you all throw her under the bus.

when asked what has made America great you choose to bring up slavery and native Americans. how messed up is that.

you say you want your point to be taken as lessons for future generations, fine, then why spin it to make us look bad? it can be stated like i have done. yes we did these things, as did the whole world, in every country in history for thousands of years.

there were grumblings about slavery at the very start of our nation, many people were against it. even those in the south! for them though there was no answer to the labor problem, so they held on to it.

with in less than 100 years, America had outlawed slavery something that had not been done, ever! as a side note, i think the Dutch did this as well around the same time.

lets not forget, the slaves were first caught by mostly black Africans, sold to black slave traders in Africa, and sold to people in every corner of the glob, not just America.

i object to the notion that America invented slavery, and was the only one doing in that time. we should be praised for being among the first to out law it! instead we are held with scorn, by people who "love" America.

Same thing goes for the native Americans. First, I object to the notion that many people have, that before we got here the Indians were living in harmony, no war, everyone knew their boundary and they were all in harmony with nature.

Hog wash! They were slaughtering each other for thousands of years. Constantly taking each other over, new tribes coming, old being wiped out. They had treaties between tribes, many if not all were broken. Death, lying ,slaughter, were the NORM!

Does this excuse America from the crappie things we did? No. there were some evil things done, by politicians mostly, not the average American at the time. According to people like you, who love this country, we as a nation, plotted and schemed, then lied, robbed then massacred the Indians, laughing the whole while. Isnít that the picture you have in your head? Sure what it sounds like.

For people who love America to have these views is disgusting to me. TO HATE ones own country the way the left does is nothing less in insane.
