Not only was she beloved in her community, but Sr. Marguerite made an impact on people in other parishes. Through retreats, workshops, conferences, and spiritual gatherings, Marguerite was always there to give a smile, make people feel welcomed and give good advise to those in need. I and others will miss her warm presence very much. I will keep the people from her parish and family in my prayers.

Navajo does not have a chapter except Red Lake or Sawmill in Arizona. It was on the list for Township and failed. Navajo is caught up in political headache; however there is some businesses still standing. Sad that crime is part of the problem. I hope the killer gets caught.

Sr. Marguerite will be sorely missed by all of us in the R. Catholic communities of Navajo, Sawmill, Fort Defiance, and St. Michael. I know that there are many students from St. Kate's that honored her and will be shocked to learn of her passing. It is up to each of us to teach our children about honesty, trust, love, and faith. That will be her legacy.
