You are what's wrong with this country.
#7 Feb 19, 2013
Obama knows he can't make the American people
'gun free', he even knows that banning assault
rifles and high capacity magazines is not going
to keep these weapons out of the hands of those
wanting them badly enough. The old adage that
'when guns are banned, only outlaws will have
guns' is well planted within his mind. But
however, the 'gun ban' thing fits in with his
agendas .. yes, the agendas of not having any for
what is really important .. the economy and the
need for putting people back to work! The sad
occurrence in Newtown, Conn. gave fuel to getting
the people of the country's mind off the real
issues plaguing the country and issues the
president has little to no idea what to do
anything about .. along with power grabbing via
'executive order' which the president loves to
use in order to by-pass Congress, thus making
himself more powerful, or so he hopes the people
will let him get away with. So no,'hahahahaha',
I am afraid you are wrong in your assumption,
but it is complacency and deceived people such
as yourself that constitutes the most of "what's
wrong with this country"!

What does this even mean? "I'm not food stamps"?'enployed'? If you want to post on these boards, at least learn how to spell to be able to communicate your thought. It's an affront to everyone's intelligence and a waste of time trying to decipher what you have written.

Please, I beg of you, stop watching Fox News. This is nothing but conspiracy theory.
#10 Feb 21, 2013
Fox news, CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, BBC, news via the grapevine or
even if you get the news from the birdie that flys by once in
a while .. any of them will inform you that our country is in
one heck of a mess! So Pal, if you can get a conspiracy theory
out of that which proves otherwise, go ahead and get it done,
you may have the answer our Liberal Messiah has not been able
to provide us with!
#11 Feb 21, 2013
Actually, the US is doing much better than when Bush was in office. And this is supported by facts: Look at the GDP, the economy itself, the stock market, housing, etc. etc. Instead of making up names (or did Fox news call him a 'liberal messiah' and you are just repeating that) for the President, how about simply reading the facts about what shape the country is in.
#12 Feb 21, 2013
Sure it is if you're walking around with your eyes covered with
the wool of deception! What does having a 17 trillion dollar
deficit do your 'much better' shape of the economy? What does
it do to the country by having its credit ratings lowered not
once but twice, what does having millions of illegal immigrants
and note I didn't say 'aliens', wouldn't want to start a quarrel
over terminology, the word illegal doesn't mean against the law
any more according to these guys. Anybody with two cents worth of
brains can see the gun ban issue is a diversion for the Obama
administration not knowing how to fix the economy or what to do
about the non existent jobs agenda .. it's like I said, no matter
what news source or media outlet you use, there's no getting
around the fact that this country is bad shape both politically
and morally .. not to mention the fact of (Well Okay, if you
prefer the 'president') on a power grab mission in the name of
'executive order' to make Congress a non-factor ... sounds a lot
like a dictator to me. And not to mention this 'president' loves
working 'under the radar' to keep as many of his actions out of
the public view that he can. Giving millions of borrowed dollars
to rouge nations like Syria, Egypt, Pakistan ..borrowed dollars
that our great, great grand children with have to punish with by
trying to pay back with interest! Oh yea Dude, we're in fine
shape even if you get your news from Ritt's YNT Today broadcast!
#13 Feb 21, 2013
Again, you use Fox News catchphrases and theories. The gun issue is not a 'diversion' for anything. There is a very real gun issue. Just ask the parents of the children killed in Connecticut. He does not work 'under the radar' to keep his actions concealed. Yet again, Fox News says it, so it must be the truth. And I also don't feel the country is going morally in the wrong direction, nor do I think he is in any way acting like a dictator. Again, Fox News preaches it, the congregation believes it.

If you don't like Fox News that's your business, I'm not an advocate for it either, but the news
is the news no matter where it is reported from.
Apparently you watch a lot of Fox News yourself,
elsewise you wouldn't know what they broadcast so
much of, I have access to all the news media as
you do up to and including the internet .. so
which ever version I decide to get info from is
strictly my business and I am as well informed as
you or anyone else who sits around and pound on
the keys all day. You have your opinions and your
rights to them ... I also have mine and I'm
sticking with them.

Yes, there is a very real gun issue, that being that the Obama administration would love to disarm America! Just look at bills that have been introduced or are waiting to be. The ban on assault weapons is just the first step. Most gun crimes are commited with handguns not assault weapons, so logically once assault weapons are baned whats next? You know our government is supposed to work on compromise, President Obama does'nt compromise with anyone, as a matter of fact today was the first time he had discussed the seguestration with congress in weeks! And if want to talk about death, talk to some of the parents in this area about the lives of their children who have been taken by prescrition drugs! Why does'nt the great messiah Obama address this problem, i'm sure he would'nt touch it, he might loose some campaign dollars from the big pharma companies.
#16 Feb 21, 2013
You mustbe a libitard! Your libitard leader's second hand stated again today he wan to get rid of all assault weapons. So shut your hole and go back to being a victim or a sheep which ever you prefer.

WE may as well suck it up and get on with our lives. The One, won the election and all the name calling and bashing the prez in not going to help.He has 4 more years to work out his plan ,just sit back and watch,it ain't gonna be pretty. But,there's nothing we can do so to worry is useless.

By reading your post it sounds like it came straight from the mouth of Sean Insanity I mean Hannity or psycho Rush Limbaugh. Turn the Fox, well really False news channel off. Its nothing but a mouthpiece for the Republican Party. Anyone with half of a working brain can realize that after five minutes of watching it.
And Pal, if the REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED CONGRESS is so concerned about the state of our economy why doesnt speaker Boner put a bill on the floor for a vote to solve our economic issues. After all if you know how Congress works the Republicans have a large majority in the House. And the Republicans can introduce legislation to the House Floor anytime they please to be voted on. Obviously, they dont have a plan to fix anything thats why Obama was re-elected. The only you hear from the Republicans is how bad the economy is, and how they can fix it, but they never have a plan or do anyting to fix the economy.
The republicans plan for everything is cut taxes on the wealthy and big corporations, and cut social programs, including Student Loans, Pell Grants for college students, the school lunch program, Social Security, Medicare Benefits, Veterans Benefits for our wounded and disabled War Veterans, and cut the unemployment extensions for people including the Coal Miners that are without work at this time. Obama has raised the Minimum Wage when the Democrats had control of Congress. And wants to raise the minimum wage again, but we know the Republicans do not believe in doing that but its one of those bills that almost all Americans support, so it will be hard for the Republicans to vote against because they dont want to have to go back to their congressional districts and have to explain how they could vote against raising the minimum wage at a time when gas is 4 dollars a gallon and groceries are out the roof.
And as far as Guns are concerned, people dont let faux news and the Republican party brain wash you. Its your 2nd amendment right to bear arms. The Democrats and Republicans more than anything want to be re elected. They are neither one going to vote for taking peoples Constitutional Right to bear arms and have to run on that voting record.
Do you remember 4 years ago when Obama was elected the Republicans said the same thing. Obama is going to take your guns, there was a huge shortage of shotgun and rifle shells. But it was all a scare tactic started on Fox or False news.

Actually, during the past election, I had stated and I still
stand by my convictions that the American people had little
alternative and Kentucky had even less say in who would make
a better president. Kentucky's primary isn't even held until
the final two candidates are nominated, not that our 8 little
electoral votes would count that much anyway. But getting to
issue of this comment, whether you watch Fox News, CNN or any
other media, like the other guy, that's your business, I don't
limit myself to any one source and I have access to as much of
as you or anyone else. Yet, as far as siding wholeheartedly
with the republican party, I don't and I like I said about the
past election, the people of this country didn't have that
'lesser evil' to choose from. Just pick a name and make an X,
one couldn't go wrong and either way wouldn't be right!

I don't have any family nor do I work for the coal
industry in any way, but I do benefit from the
coal severance pay which comes back to coal
producing counties occasionally by way of helping
keep sales tax off our groceries and the added
funds going into local colleges. Yes, milder than
usual winters may cause a small drop in demand
for this fossil fuel, but power companies still
need it in the power production. Natural gas is
the best alternative of course for our area, but
it is a ways down the road from being a viable
replacement for coal, so getting to the Obama
thing and our economy, here is another snag in
the road for us and especially the family who
depends on coal production. Magoffin County is
fortunate to have a place like Joy Manufacturing,
but when mining goes out, the few jobs this
company offers in Magoffin will decrease along
with the miners who lose their jobs and the coal
trucking owners who will have to give up their
trucks. Is natural gas cleaner? Maybe in a few ways, but fracking is going to cause what little
fresh water have to go bad, not to mention the
methane gas from the mud will still play havoc
on the upper atmosphere .. so we won't be much
better off for switching from coal to natural
gas, besides, our homes and other building structures are not very 'earthquake proof' as
compared to other places where these things
happen often. Fracking for natural gas has been
known to cause earthquakes in places where they
were not a problem before. So, for those who
agree that Obama is 'good' for our local economy,
take up your issue with the families who are
in danger of losing their livelihood, their
businesses and their homes. All I stand to lose
is a break on the cost of my groceries, a
little more money from my fixed income to pay the
electric bills, and the increase on every other
item bought from retail outlets due to the rise
in their cost. Mercy, it never ends!
