teachers put child in closet at salye...
Seriously

I don't care how misbehaved a child is, what type of rearing they are getting at home, income level or otherwise, this is ABUSE! The father of the child this allegedly happened to is a Lawyer and his family isn't poor. We will sort this out and get to the truth. Should the allegations be true...I hope the person(s) responsible and the entire Magoffin County School System can afford a damn good lawyer, because they will need it.

How can anyone believe that something like this would happen in our public school system? All the people who really have no more confidence in our school system than this should take their children out of school if they are responsible parents then sue the socks off of them. But you won't do that, will you? Because you know this is all just malacious gossip and you are only interested in trying to ruin the reputations of the people there. Go ahead and sue. Then when you are countersued for slander and defamation of character we'll see what happens next.

I really don't understand how you people can get on here and talk like this and not even know the people you are talking about. Of course take your children out of school if it really happened. Don't wait! Do it tomorrow and sue the people involved and the school system, too! If you are good, responsible parents, that's exactly what you'll do! People who do such things should be punished severely!!! However, with the people you have named, I think you will find you will be countersued for slander and defamation of character; therefore, it will go no farther than a bunch of gossips who are afraid to talk to someones face, with lawyers, but will hide behind computers or use any cowardly means possible to try to destroy the named peoples reputations. Go ahead. Get a lawyer. I know they will have one of their own waiting on yours.

thats a shame and discrase that you cant even send your children to school anymore and not have to worry about them being bothered or hurt.that little boy will probably remember this for the rest of his life its no wonder that most of the parents keep their children at home and teach them at home, they are better off sometimes, and your probably right its probably a poor family seems like the rich kids are the trouble makers, and get away with murder, thats the way it was when i went to school, seems like things havent changed and never will, they should have a school for the rich and one for the poor

Well, I did ask my child and she said it did indeed happen and the teachers forced the older students to do this, that they didn't want to but were made to! What a disgrace, I informed my child if she was ever told to do this that she better refuse and if they have a problem, they can contact me! This school has went to dogs ever since the principal's job has went to somebody's head!

Hey confused, a person can't sue for slander or deframation of character unless you have the name of the person talking about you. Unless you do know the childs parents on here who or which you might have done some damage too. And if my child was to come home telling me something like that. I would be mad too, and angry. Some children are taught to tell the truth, and to respect their elders. But if this is a teacher or principal typing this on here. You wasn't taught anything in your life. THIS IS IN MY OPINION......................

I agree with you, this is nonsense. Anybody that knows Janice in the least would know this is crazy as hell, she would never ever do a child that way. Just like everything else in Magoffin Id say its been a mole hill made into a mountain. This sounds to me like a vendetta against her for her current personal life and the situation going on which is no ones business except the 3 or 4 parties involoved and has no bearing on her job or teaching abilities.

I think one reason is that these teachers know whose kid they can do this to. I don't know but my guess this kid comes from a family with little money and no pull. A poor family mat feel like they can't do anything and they sure couldn't afford a good lawyer. Also it is a fact that lower income parents are less involved with their child's education.(Not all low income parents-some poor people are very involved)It's just a statistical fact, not my own judgment. They wouldn't do that to a kid whose parents had the resources to fight back! I hope somebody who knows this family reaches out and tells them their options! They don't have to take this lying down. They need to contact the state police, the board of education (probably a waste of time), a lawyer out of this county. They may get representation pro-bono or the lawyer could agree to do it and get paid when they win the case. It would be a high profile case in this area and some lawyers would like the notoriety!
Well the thing about all of this is there are many, MANYY ways to handle this kinda of situtation, if no one will listen, then I'd carry my happy ass to the school everyday, and sit in the classroom and watch everything, that should bring some attention, concidering the fact they don't want parents in the school after the bells anyway DON'T YA THINK? SO NEWS FLASH TO WHOMEVER THINKS THAT THE POOR FOLKS CAN'T DO ANYTHING!! EVERYONE CAN DO ANYTHING!!

Well i do believe that i have the right to express my opinion on this forum, just as you do! I do have children and i have had problems with them at school. But guess what, i took care of the problem and i did'nt even need a lawyer to sue the teacher or the school. I honestly don'nt know why anyone would to be a teacher with all the stress and aggravation they have put up with from some parents
